Its been like this since time immemorial. This is how you use his aegis against him economically. It also works on all meepo clones, so you track entire meepo gang and you get 5x track gold bonus. Add an aegis into the mix and you potentially extract up to two teams’ worth of track gold from him. If he last long enough for you to track him 5x per life. Source: Gondar main since 2013
