That wasn't a good game, but then again, i'm UD and i just consider WFZ as throwing away the game. He knew he had to be careful not to lose DK, so what does he do? Run his half HP DK with no TP right into the middle of 3 high level orc heroes who's only chance was to snipe his DK(then other heroes, then rest of army). WFZ let him do all that by not microing his DK and just keeping it away from orc heroes.. and not buying invuln pot and deciding to fight with half HP dk. Really dumb. That's like 1 crit/volley from death(after hex/acid bomb)
this is the fucking best game of all times i have seen in WC3. so crazy strat with alchemist. of course WFZ made many mistakes that it was possible. but anyway, own a pro UD just with triple heroes makes this game so fantastic....
BM is not OP. WFZ played very poor in terms of decision making. Destroyers have magic attack which is almost useless vs heroes. Destros w/o mana are really shitty. So, Fly had plenty of time to eliminate statues, fiends and heroes. Also, WFZ had some ghouls in the base, didn’t use them to attack/defend.
Here is how UD could win at the end : Put destroyers over the sea, expansion is alive, summon accolytes, if any of the 3 heroes goes to harass his expansion, attack the buildings with the destros, simple - win
I don't think that Death Pact would have helped substantially though. Just look how crazy DPS the BM is doing in the end game. Death Pact would have only prolonged the inevitable.
Fly mid game fight fails made this game so close , he kept sending his damaged units back, then using his army hotkey to bring them back in to the fight. If not for this he would have stomped earlier.
somehow it seemed Neo was expecting this comeback of fly , did he know already the result or he is just so aware of this game that he knew that combo could do it??
i casted the game live, there was no way i could'be been spoiled :) its just my super superior gamesense + my love for alchemist that made me hope for it
Back2Warcraft great man i think that your faith in alchemist may have somehow also positively influenced Fly 100 % , he really played perfectly , maybe best game in his entire career , he remembered me of Happy vs Fly in that famous epic game xD
26:12 Undead is stupid. Fly with those destroyers immediately to the west to the shore and hide them somewhere (north and south). Maybe wfz is lucky enough to get single attacks and slowly destroy the altar. All three heroes can't guard the altar all the time, if orc wants to win. Okay, I admit. Orc has 16 supply, that means he has one peon and with it he can build (he has the resources) a lumbermill or an orc borrow, but that's about it.
I really have to disagree on this being a great game, WFZ simply threw a won game away in the silliest way imaginable. Nothing particularly interesting about it.
This is exactly why Critical Strike/BM was nerfed. Because this guy literally won a game purely because BM can 3 shot ANY hero in the game. This is why Blizzard stopped supporting this game for a long time and went over to SC, because of imbalanced asf shit like that.
Exile 14 Well, if you take this as proof then it's very missleading, of course BM made the comeback happen, but why was he able to? Because UD made incredible mistakes, not because BM was too strong. UD let the BM escalate happen, that's the reason he lost.
Im not gonna lie, i dont think neo is a particular good caster, in fact i think he has flaws in a lot of areas (Bad articulation, raises voice at wrong times, has an urge to keep calling something more epic than it is, generally lacks knowledge of the game) I don't like him as a caster. He almost ruined this great game for me. I do however admire his love for warcraft 3 and i wish him the best of luck to becomming a better caster in the future. i certainly will be following on the sideline.
