Game Of Thrones 3x9 Reaction!! "The Rains of Castamere" 

One of the episodes everyone has been waiting for! Igli's reaction is priceless! We ended up watching this one on my birthday, and I couldn't have wished for a better present. Nothing beats hearing one of my best friends lose his mind over the red wedding! We hope you guys enjoy as much as Blake and I did -Corey

The red wedding was the scene that singel-handedly kickstarted the whole reaction video genre.

In the book Catelyn knew something was wrong because the band was terrible. They were archers not musicians

Robb stark was naive to think that he could marry someone else and not get the consequences.

Clearly not a dull wedding even by Dothraki standards.

Robb should’ve never sent away Theon. Catelyn should’ve never sent away Jaime. Robb should’ve kept his oath. Also, Bolton’s betrayal is foreshadowed. He just sends Jaime back to Tywin in episode 6. Why would he do that if he were truly loyal to Robb?

Not him slowly losing it in his notes too 🤣🤣

The main reason that this happened has nothing to do with Cat. Its all about Robb refusing to marry one of Fray's children and getting Talisa. You don't make these choices as a king. You can't break your vows. Its all that matters. Yes things would be better if Karstarks were not enemies, but the main reason will always be Talisa and Robb breaking vows.

I hate weddings - Igli

Unforgettable episode. I think Robb and Cat share pretty much equal blame for what happened. Cat letting Jaime go was a big mistake, but so was Robb marrying Talisa. Like you said, a lot of factors led to what happened, so putting the blame on just one person feels wrong to me.

In House of the Dragon someone says “There has never been a Stark who forgot an oath.” Until there was Robb. I adore Robb, but he broke an oath to a man who had no honor and a mountain of pride.

Michelle Fairley as Catelyn should have won an Emmy for this and the fact she didn’t will always upset me. She was such a tour de force in this.

Congratulations Igli, you finally and officially earned your GOT badge...The famous red wedding that broke the internet and everyone's hearts💔💔

Corey and Blake’s barely contained glee throughout the episode while they waited for igli’s heart to be broken, then Blake just losing it at Igli’s reaction, literally best part of the reaction 😂😂😂

I think everyone felt like Igli after this season, that there is no way to continue the story right after. But still, season 4 is my favourite so it’s not over yet. It is known!

It’s official…. Igli is a winter man now 😆. Oh boy how much I hated the red wedding, I always cry a river when I hear Catelyn’s scream ☹️😭

This episode threw out all the traditions of heroic storytelling and mythology. When Ned dies, our expectation is that his son will avenge him and become the hero of the story. But George R.R. Martin doesn’t really do heroes.

Why do people never think it was suspicious that Roose Bolton let Jamie go back to Kings Landing considering he was Robs 2nd in command him letting Jamie go was a act of treason but people just blow by it and never question it.

And so Igly is a Sweet Summer's Child no more.

As far as recognizing Roose Bolton, I completely missed who he was on first watch too. There's SO MUCH info in GoT, it's impossible not to miss or forget some things (or lots of things, in the case of most first time viewers). The first time I watched this episode, I was so disturbed and upset that I don't think I even watched ep10 until season 4 started.

I've watched so many times this wedding. Probably around 100 times from compilations and the reactors I follow. I just watched a 13 years old girl not blink for the duration of the whole thing. Very impressive. Poor Igli. Now you can wear adult long pants like any other adult that watched this episode.

I open the video and see Blake with the pupper and I thought, "Oh, good! Someone will have emotional support cuddles!"

Yep, the book RW is much darker from the get go. Cat senses something ominous throughout the wedding. The music is awful and loud. The food is often raw or things humans don't eat (jellied calves' brains, for example) but can be considered rat food. The Freys are often compared to rats in the books. But Cat noted the alcohol flowed freely. Walder need everyone drunk. Props to James Bradley for playing Walder Frey. I loved his performance.

As horrible an event as it is in the story, that's amazing television. No matter how many times i watch it or a reaction to it, my heart starts racing every time in anticipation. People get it backwards, when such an iconic and horrible, and unforgettable event happens in the show, that stirs up the emotions so much (in some more than others, i know how seriously to actually take a TV show), that means it was a great episode, whether you like what happened in the story or not. One of my favorites.

One of most insane things to watch first time, ambushed and there's no messing around they are just wiping them out, all of them, no plot armour here

In the books Robb's last words at the Red Wedding were "Grey Wind" - its believed he warged into Grey Wind right before he died (in the books all the Stark children are wargs) - so its a pretty sad thought to think that he was killed twice, once in his own skin and then again in Grey Wind's skin

My brain got stuck in a "that didn't just happen" loop watching this the first time - I definitely had trouble sleeping that night, sheeeesh 😢

the woman who played Cat Stark said that she and the actor who played Robb stark formed an incredible bond while filming and this part was really hard for them. she said the moment where Robb turns and says "Mother...." she broke into tears.

I feel your pain, Igli, LOL. I didn't watch the show until after season 7, and surprisingly, didn't have any major event spoiled. I knew of the red wedding, but didn't know what happened. My jaw was on. the. floor.

No longer a Sweet Summer Child.

The actor who plays Robb tells a great story about shooting that scene. He was already emotional about leaving the series, separating from the actors who had been his family, and then after his “death” he didn’t have time to clean up before catching a flight. So he got on the plane “sobbing and smeared with blood.” Wondered what the other passengers were thinking.

Igli your reaction was priceless. Worth the wait . I missed the intro because of that adorable puppy and her furry sibling. 🐾💙💗🐾This was so good. The fact that Corey and Blake chose to be silent while the red wedding scene played out . Loved it . Brilliant choice . I read the books (well all that were published) before the show and I knew what was going to happen at the wedding but it still knocked me for 6 when I saw it on the screen

Omg!! The dog!! Oh 2 dogs!! Igli is officially no longer a “Summer Child” Doesn’t matter how many times I watch this.. between the music, the first cello note of the “Rains of Castamere,” until the ending credits of silence, the acting, script, directing etc.. I tear up every single time.. Blake and Corey, excellent poker faces.. I can’t help but laugh a little at peoples’ reactions though.. Right when you think this episode can’t get any worse, it does.. but, the Blackfish.. The notes.. I can’t help but laugh.. DEAD DEAD DEAD lol Have to comment how awesome Richard Madden’s (Robb) acting was in the show. Every word he delivered was perfection. Def a top five favorite in the show as well as a favorite UK actor in general.. Don’t lose hope, Igli.. season 4 is amazing.. More dogs next time!!

He told her that he knew her secret and that Joffrey didn't belong on the throne. So if you are already looking for the culprit from the good people, then this is Ned. Another mistake of Ned was to want to expropriate the Mountain and arrest him for high treason, the right hand of Twyron, so to speak. But where did it really start? Littlefinger, he is the cause of everything that happened.

I love that you guys say this is the worst episode. It is rated higher than ANY OTHER episode in the entire series, when it happened it was not bad it was viewed as an AMAZING twist. It clearly means you were both “team stark” and still haven’t gotten over this scene. I know you compare it to the book, which is reputable but the books were just a beginning baseline.
