Joff was nowhere near as bad as the show makes him. He was a boy of thirteen, murdered at his own wedding by the men who called him "brother". Even Martin feels bad for the kid.

Fun fact: Arya is left-handed, so Maisie Williams, who is right-handed, learned to fight with the left hand. Good, you don't have to wait a week to watch the next episode! I was climbing walls when it was airing.

I wonder if she regretted that once she realized all the changes the show runners made lol i do appreciate the devotion on her part, though its unfortunate that a 12 year old who had never even read the books chose to be more loyal to the source material than the show runners who *supposedly* were big fans. Like is it so hard to give Bran and Rickon red hair? 😂

That book Joffrey destroyed is one of maybe four still in existence. Citadel has a copy, or at least part of a copy, but they won't let anyone check it out. You have to visit to read it. Doubtless, they would not let just anyone read it either.

There are plenty of otherworldly parts of this story other than Melisandre's beliefs and practices ~ Dany hatching dragons, White Walkers, Thoros raising Beric from the dead, Faceless Men, Warging and Bran's other abilities... 🙃🤔

I love that you picked up on the last name "Sand". It's such a quick back and forth conversation that alot of ppl miss it. Yes it's the Dorne bastard name! Like Snow is the North and Rivers is the Riverlands etc.. 😊 It's just a little context detail that will make a future conversation less confusing when it comes up. Keep up the epic work 🤩

Sand is the last name given to bastards of Dorne, where Oberyn is from. Love the ‘purple wedding’. Margaery did her best to control Joffrey but I don’t think it would have been possible. Lucky for her, she won’t have to worry about it anymore 😂 Sansa learned a great deal from Cersei and the rest…didn’t we all just breathe a sigh of relief when she finally decided to escape this place. Perhaps she has achieved ‘some’ wisdom. Maybe she’ll be safe now 😜 Great reaction ❤

Not Sand is not a female version of bastards, actually bastards are named depending where they are from, Snow in the north, Sand in Dorne, etc.

@@michaelswain845 not all, only specific Targaryen bastards took the name Blackfire. Most still used the regional names. Like Bryndon Rivers. Technically, the name Blackfire came after they were legitimized, they are a cadet branch of House Targaryen.

Sand is not the female version of bastard, it's the dornish version. Bastards of either gender receive a "generic" family name depending on the region. "Snow" in the north. We know jon snow and ramsay snow. "Rivers" in the riverland "Pyke" for the Iron Islands " Rivers" for the Riverlands "Stone" for the Vale, "Hill" for the Westerlands, "Flowers" for the Reach, "Storm" for the Stormlands, "Sand" for Dorne, "Waters" in the Crownlands

Margaery is now ex-queen, like Cersei. If the marriage had been consummated, she would be the potential mother of a heir for a few months but that didn't happen, so she's back looking for a new job. Next in line is of course Joffrey's younger brother Tommen.

When I was editing this and realized the queen of roses said that… (her official title is escaping me) my jaw was in the floor. This show is incredibly detailed. The answers are almost always right in front of us once we realize the storytelling style

I found this death absolutely shocking. Because you think "OK, George will kill off good people to shock us. But the villains have to endure to give us someone to hate and root against." And then the most hated character dies out of nowhere, and you're left wondering where the hell the story goes from here.
