The killing of Shireen remains the worst crime perpetrated by the characters on this show at this point in the story.

FYI, Daenerys does not hate Ser Jorah nor does she want him dead. She loves him. He was her trusted friend and advisor and she was hurt by his betrayal but Dany never wanted him to die. If she did, Ser Jorah would have already been dead.

Stannis prioritizes a twisted sense of "duty" over EVERYTHING.

Yeah the dragons can sense emotions of their riders and Danny has a special connection to Drogo that is why he came because he sensed that she was afraid ❤

Princess Shireen's screams at the end are always so hard to listen to. As far as Hizdar Zo Loraq, I do believe that he had something to do with the Sons of the Harpies. But I feel at the moment that they killed him, they felt like they no longer needed his services. Side note: Daenerys' dragons are named Drogon (named after her husband Drogo) Viserion (named after her brother Viserys) Rhaegal (named after her brother Rhaegar)

RIP Princess Shereen & F Stannis! I had to look at pics of her in real life after that scene. What an actress - her scream still haunts me. One of the saddest deaths.

Stannis sacrificing Shireen didn't happen in the books. In the books, he left her in Castle Black and named her his heir in case he falls in combat so that she may be Queen Shireen Baratheon. Shame that the writers of the show ruined his character because they're not confident of what to do with his character now that they're running out of book material to base their writing on. It is at this season that the writing for this show starts seeing signs of deteriorating. The killing of Ser Barristan as well as that dumb rescue mission with Jamie and Bronn also didn't happen in the books. The city of Mereen serves as a learning experience for Daenerys when it comes to governance. As bad as slavery is, it had been the norm for them for hundreds of years, and no foreigner, even one with a large army and dragons would change that overnight. To really abolish something like slavery, you'd need years and years of education and social engineering. It was quite naive of her to just conquer the place and ban it overnight without any compromise. Of course they will rebel. The cities she conquered along the way also returned to their old ways once she left.

First: Only the youngest girl is Elia Sands daughter with Oberyn. The other two belong to another of his previous lovers. He has 8 daughters, all called Sand Snakes. Second, the Kings Guard with Lord Tyrell is on Arya's list. His name is Meryn Traunt.

Daenerys didn't want Jorah to die, she was letting him fight for her, to prove himself and show his loyalty to her. If she had wanted him to die, she would've executed him when she found out about his pardon but she exiled him instead.

The the real life version of this the Roman Coliseum was free. In real life the Gladiatorial games this is based on were done as a "gift" to the people. Bread was also free in ancient Rome. Both to bribe the people and it worked for hundreds of years.

I’d rather the show ended on the Princesses death. I was so bummed out by her death that nothing else mattered to me. Great ending tho. It was just wrong timing.

This is by far the worst episode for me , even more so than the Red Wedding. Each time i watch a reaction to this episode i have to remember to mute it during the death of Shireen scene 😢 On another note however, loved your reactions especially when Daenarys flys off with Drogon for the first time ❤

I was wondering why a 'reaction' of one of the most popular series ever to grace a screen would have so few comments and relatively few 👍. I've been with you since episode 1, but I have to say, you do make it hard work. So much so that I can't continue at the risk of losing my sanity. By all means speak when you have something useful to say, and I look forward to hearing you, but this inane drivel that completely detracts from the little we see on screen is way too much. I wish you good fortune in the wars to come - but without me.
