@Moon Jar He's not lying though. D&D screwed Dany over at the end. I'm completely neutral as to whether it was foreshadowed or not (don't really care tbh), because even it was, D&D didn't handle her "going mad" well at all. It felt forced and rushed, like everything Daenrys stood for was immediately flushed down the drain. Just like how they ruined Tyrion (who was GoT for me, and my favorite character).

They didn't show what happened to Dany after that incident. Dany promised the father she would pay the family every year on her nameday if only the family keep the secret about what her dragons did. Months later when drogon took her away from Mareen, Dany was thinking " Drogon killed a child... Her name was.. Her name was?" She was inconsolable as she couldn't remember her name, then she heard grass speaking to her in Jorah's voice that Dany is a dragon. Around that time Dany was slowly losing her mind, the Targ madness was getting to her, her dragon self was winning over her Mysha self. That child's name us Hazzea.

She wears bells in her hair for every conquest, even in Mereen. She learned strenght and pride from them. That is a theme with Dany, she builds her personality from bits and pieces of her experiences and her life with the Dothraki is a very cherished part of herself for her.

The fact that Daenerys is herself a child conceived by rape just adds to her tragedy. Like this girl has so rarely known safety. And she still managed to be kind. Specially in the books, there's a lot more scenes of her kindness. The kindness she showed as an intricate part of who she was is why I hate that ending so much. If they wanted to convince us she would lose herself like that, they should have worked harder in that arc, not rushed through it. She deserved at least that.

But in the end Cersei still won over Daenerys, she burned the down the city and tore down her image of how good she was. Birgit she's the unburnt so not necessarily. I never understood why people said that about her. Her dragons don't even get that much screen time up until the 6th & 7th season and she was easily the most intriguing part for me. Maybe not to everyone else but she still has a large fan base despite her dragons that are barely shown.

Honestly this is perfectly said. Daenerys has a heart of gold, but is by no means perfect or without sin- none of the characters are. But that's what makes them 3-dimensional and complex and makes me love her so very, very, very, VERY, much. Long may she reign #targaryensforthethrone

I love Dany because she is fearless when it comes to defeating her enemies..kinda like Cersei and Stannis, but with a heart to help people. She can't be merciful and has to go with her gut, or she will lose her life like Ned had because he was always trying to be too honorable in everything. She has to be caring, but firm and fearless. All of her upbringing and her father's sins made her stronger, yet fearful of becoming mad. She has a good balance to keep her sane because she has the right counsel. She even is concerned with Jon's advice and opinion, which shows she respects him and has a connection with him (Targaryen connection ). I am pretty sure she is going to fight for Jon like she said. She cares for him and that love will keep her on check to continue fighting their enemies.

I can't fucking wait to see Jaime bend the knee to Daenerys and Jon. He idolised Rhaegar like he was from the Age of Heroes, for him to be able to serve a true monarch, whether it's Rhaegars sister or true born heir would finally complete his circle of trying and failing yet succeeding to be an honourable knight, and finally bring an end to his guilt for failing to protect Rhaegars children like he promised.

Well the fact shes giving up her quest for the throne and goes North to help the realm, unlike his cunt sister, will change his mind about her. I mean the first introduction with her was when she was burning his soldiers alive and he charged at her trying to stab her in the back. Between her and Rheagars son, she the one who suffered the most from what Tywin did. She was all alone, while Jon had Ned to protect his ass in hiding till he was adult.

Can’t believe they built Dany’s character for 7 seasons to have her go mad and probably die. I mean I kinda felt like she deserves another chance all her family is dead except Jon. Jon don’t want to show affection back. That part about Viserys reminds me of her discussion with Varys in 7x02! Another underrated scene from season 7! lol I love her growth as a queen/ruler. She isn't perfect and never aspired to be... she knows strength can be cruel and thankfully, she has good advisors who doesn't feed into her madness (any longer).

Yeah, that was a good scene that a lot of people take for granted. She was laying down the law with Varys, telling him that she's not her brother who soaked up all the sweet promises and lies a million people like Varys told him simply to gain his favor. She wants the truth. For lack of a better term, she wants an honest relationship. She told him what she expects from him and let him know what to expect from her if he went sneaking around. It's no different from what any good ruler would want. She just said it out loud and didn't apologize for it.

The thing with Dany is that she started from nothing. She was merely her brother's pawn. Truly an amazing tribute to Dany. Or more so to how inspiring she can be. How due to who she is even the wild, untamed and immoral Dorthraki followed her across the Narrow Sea. I must say that Dany has been a tough character to like lately (for me at least), but videos like this, videos that remind us of how and who she was and how she became who she is now, are what is keeping the love alive, tbh. You can feel the greatness. I think she and Jon Snow have this potential for great things. Both were from famous and powerful families, and yet they were diminished, no one gave them much value. However, both grew up and proved to be good and fair people, of course they had their flaws, but they were able to make you believe in them and cheer for them. The two have a beautiful story, but when it came to an end, the show didn't reach its peak and destroyed two great and amazing characters. I hope the book can do that.
