The way my anxiety level rises everytime he says Rhaegal instead of Rhaegar 😬 despite watching the compilation of people pronouncing the name. Also bro Robert's rebellion isn't covered in HOTD. Its the story about Dany's ancestors around the time when they were at height of their power.

The Mountain is Tywin's henchman, not Roberts! Robert was not the King at that time! Robert did not order the mountain to execute Ellia and the Targaryen children! You shoud watch histories and lore from the 1st. season!

What I think the creator was getting at, rather than implying that Robert was behind the deaths of Rhaegar's children, was that Robert excused the deaths of those kids, and sought to have Viserys and Daenerys killed. Like he says, he'll kill every Targaryen he can get his hands on. All the while, his best friend Ned was hiding Rhaegar's son by Lyanna, keeping him safe from "Robert's wrath" by hiding the child's identity, and taking on a stain upon his own honour to do so. Ned hated what happened to the Targaryen children, protected Jon, refused to take part in the attempted assassination of Daenerys, tried to give Cersei a chance to escape with her children, and was willing to dishonour himself completely for his daughter's sake. Ned has always been about protecting the children, and he kept Jon safe despite all it cost him.
