It's all about context. The thing i had *the* hardest time with over the course of a couple decades of math, was fractions. No matter what i did, they just didn't work. Then someone introduced the idea that fractions were just coins for the vending machine, and it was like they finally started speaking english!

I love how you treat the show with respect, providing so much insight into it and the books and you don't just spin crazy theories out of proportion or nitpick its imperfections. Having just read the five books I remember nothing about Walder eating his sons as pies, nor Wyman Manderly doing anything for revenge except letting Davos go. It's in the show now, but where did that theory or whatever it is stem from? How did you get the idea that that's the way it was going to go down? Was it just speculation?

This is a show projection not book for nothing has happened yet to Walder in the books but odds are other Freys ate their kin in the big pe cooked by Wyman Manderly in the books . I might re-read the tale of the Rat Cook which outlines the penalty for breaking guest right in the North that is where the foreshadowing is and that is what Walder did at the Red Wedding that he paid for at the hands of Arya in the show..

karlzone2 in a theon chapter in Dance (ghost of winterfell i think) wyman keeps talking about the rat cook at a feast where he has provided the pie. We heard earlier that a few freys disappeared on course from White Harbor to Winterfell. We also know the manderlys hate the freys too, so it is quite likely there were freys in the pie.

Here is an idea for the champion of the faith that would be rather dramatic, albeit far fetched. Cersei announces the mountain as her champion as expected and the sparrow waits until the trail to declare theirs. Before hand, cersei commands the undead mountain to slay any person that is chosen by the faith. The trail comes and the sparrow cleverly convinces Tommen to be the champion, believing that the mountain being a Kingsguard would be forced to forfeit to Tommen. The sparrow begins the trail and Tommen orders the mountain to stand down, but I believe it has been established the undead Gregor only follows cersei's orders. So watching in horror from afar, Cersei sees the death of her son at the hands of her own monster as Gregor walks across and dispatches Tommen in one swing.

Regarding Sam taking the sword, I think it's a brilliant move, since Sam knows that Randyll will do anything to get it back, because he loves the sword more than his own children and he'd be ridiculed all over Westeros if anyone found out that he lost a Valyrian sword. Essentially, Sam could blackmail Randyll into doing something that he wouldn't otherwise do, like for example, marching North against the White Walkers.

I love how you go into a statement very seriously and end with comedy... it's a common theme in your vids and it makes them great. E.g. "Meera, you gotta admire her loyalty, should could have run, but instead she is willing to sacrifice herself..." then straight to "Anyway, while Meera is doing all the work, Bran is TRIPPING BALLS having visions of the future and past."

The dude almost shit his pants. Faceless men are not so much an emotionless robot like everyone thinks.

Perhaps it is better to say that they are not supposed to have an emotional investment in who they kill. They certainly can and do have a sense of self-preservation, but their gifts of death are not wielded for personal gain or on impulse - otherwise, they would not retain the professional reputation that they have.

My theory is that the farmer's boys that were burned earlier on in the place of Bran and his brother were actually doubles for the real farmers boys. The farmer boys have grown angry for the recent climate changes as it has affected their crops for years. The boys try to take the matters to the King, but alas, they will pay no heed to their meddling needs as they are still in Ramsay's (once Stark's) land. The farmer's boys pick up their scythes and being their march towards the throne... The real threat has only begun...

I noticed that when Lord Tarly heard Gilly talk about the White Walkers he didn't immediately dismiss it like Dickon did. Even if he doesn't necessarily believe her, Lord Tarly prides himself in being a soldier and a good soldier should never dismiss a potential threat without properly investigating it, maybe he could end up being an ally. If Sam, Gilly, and Little Sam head back the Wall and Tarly decides to chase his stolen phallic symbol, he could end up helping.

What if Bran is shown that the world may end in fire, or in ice? And that from what he has tasted of desire, he holds with those that favor fire? But since he would be able to see the world perish twice, and seeing cleganebowl made him know enough of hate, he would know that destruction by ice is also great and would suffice. I really have no clue why I felt the need to type this...

'Who do we know that has a thousand ships?' - absolutely nobody. We know there's a guy who wants to build a thousand ships, but he lives on a small set of largely treeless islands. And even if he could find the wood, building a thousand ships would take a fuck of a long time, plus he still has to get the ships he doesn't have all the way to her. It'd probably be easier if she just borrows Littlefinger's jetpack and loads her entire army onto that...
