I think Sams dad leaves Horn Hill to hunt Sam, leaving brother Dickon to care for the castle. Dothraki Horde comes knocking, Dickon is cocky and arrogant, he marches his army out into the field to meet them. Instead of doing what the experienced vet Randyll would do, which probably would be to fortify the castle.

+Jayy I LOVE costume design and have been following Thrones costumes closely since they tell loads of stories with them. Some other gems: The ring Dany dropped at the end of season 5 was one that showed up that season. She managed to hang onto her ring even when she was with the Dosh Khaleen. She wore lots of blue because blue is considered a precious colour to the Dolthraki, being made from a rare dye. No matter how ornate her dresses, Dany ALWAYS wears pants and boots under them, in case she needs to run or ride to safety.

Let's face it Alt shift, while he has a soothing voice and a gift with flowcharts, everything he says here has either already been reduced or happened in the past, and the fans already know what happened. very but true. His breakdowns and correlations are very good. I've watched a few breakdowns and though many are great they seem to miss certain details or they focus on other topics so I tend to watch them all. Many are very good though, so its nice to see other breakdowns as well. But ALT+shift X is still in my opinion the best.

Maybe Jon slams Littlefinger because he told Jon that Lyanna was his mother, and Jon thinks LF is saying Ned fucked his sister. LF talks fast to explain himself and keep Jon from killing him. But Jon doesn't believe him. So LF introduces the idea, but Bran has to confirm it before he believes it. If/when Jon realizes he's not Ned's son at all, that will be the last straw for him to turn over Winterfell to either Sansa or Bran. Great video as usual.

In Dany's vision (and Bran's vision in 4x01) the sigil behind the Iron Throne in the destroyed Red Keep is the Seven-Pointed Star, not the Lannister Lion. But neither Dany's nor Jon's groups follow the Faith of the Seven. So who put it there? Or is it just the "default" ornament?

Karlsson, I think it's just production inconsistencies. If the lion sigil was there in Season 2, it would have confused the audience/potentially spoiled who the next monarch would be

the lion is the Lannister sigil, put there by Cersei after Tommen (formally a Baratheon) did the King's Landing.

I think Littlefinger was talking to Jon in the trailer, not Sansa, they cut the trailer like that to make us think he is talking to Sansa but it's Littlefinger trying to get on Jon's goodside but Jon sees through his bullshit and threw him up against the wall in the crypts.

+O Kalos O Mylos Because Book Hound, while most likely alive, is lame, weak and has found peace on an isolated island. He's one of the very few characters who has simply stopped fighting. Physically he would never be able to take on his undead zombie brother, and he likely doesn't want to anymore. Unless they slaughter all the monks on his island then mayyyybe he'll be incited back to warlike ways, but even then it doesn't change the fact that, unlike show Hound, he's lost most of his strength.
