I read the cartoon never got passed the drawing board but it would've been excellent. Think the chiefs were scared of making a cartoon of a (18) but it worked for the Robocop cartoon so it's a shame it didn't happen. They did an animated toy trailer but think they only aired the live action kids playing one (least that I can find...)

They totally could. I always liked Aliens Stronghold by Dark Horse comics where they designed a synthetic android to appear and infiltrate hives, except it's also cigar chomping plasma gun wielding wisecrackingly awesome

We need a back story! James Cameron needs to do an Aliens Special Edition where O'Malley is digitally edited into all the scenes, like Lucas did with Star Wars
