How we doing everyone! I try my best to always include a pinned comment that explains some BTS for all my fellow creatives out there. This video was one of our fastest productions! 25 minute video edited in 48 hours 👀. The goal is to try and get 2 - 3 long form uploads out a month... big things coming. Anyway, I find myself getting stuck sometimes on what topics we should present to you all because if you talk to any RU-vidr, they say the idea, title and thumbnail are the most important parts... to which I agree but, that causes so much analysis paralysis. This video, I kinda said let's not overthink this and try and upload a video that is just a genuine interest of mine - Game Theory. Inspired by my college class, it's a topic that I felt is on brand for the channel and worked a lot to "RU-vid-ify" it. Lesson is: YES, ideas, titles and thumbnails absolutely matter, but also don't let that discourage you of an idea you may be passionate about. There's always a way to package it. See you all soon and as always, thank you for the continued support! - Tejas
I've listened to plenty of other books and videos trying to understand Game Theory, but you've done such a great job breaking this down. You're absolutely smashing it! Love this dude!!!!!
This video makes some serious questions about lifestyle, decision making, and business. The answer we get throughout the video is both wholesome and logical. We, and many othe species are social because this is the best way to survive, and cooperation is the cornerstone of the success. Great video and analysis, looking forward to see you guys make new stuff

Interesting that Omar winning that first round means he’s won no matter how many rounds are then played after, if he Defects every time then he will only either maintain or grow his lead
In your prisoner dilemma game defecting nets either a big reward or a small reward, while cooperating only gets a medium reward or no reward. Both the best and worst outcome of defecting is better, and it guarantees a reward. The Cold War ams race is like this example. Not stockpiling would lead to being wiped out, or to saving some money - stockpiling leads to wasting some money or wiping out your enemy. Defecting guarantees you survive. In both cases, defecting is the obvious move. It may be less morally good, but you can hide behind it being more logically sound. There’s more of a dilemma if the both defect option means that there’s no reward for either party. Now cooperating is the only move that ensures at least one person gets a reward. The Cold War equivalent would be if both sides stockpiling guaranteed outright war that wipes out both sides. Now there is no safe option that guarantees that you will survive. Cooperating guarantees that someone will survive, defecting guarantees that your opponent is wiped out. With both these cases, there’s a moral dilemma of would you rather risk everyone losing or risk your opponent beating you, and there’s no logical option to hide behind. This is much more of a test of people’s character individually and of what it takes for cooperation to exist.
For the prisinors dilemma ever picking cooperate would be stupid due to if you always pick deflect then you would always get tokens and your apponent could even get none while you get 5
This works if you have only 1 round of 1-10 matches. When adding teams, more rounds, you would see that people who are constantly Defecting are having low points, and those whom forgiving are reaching incredible results.
Bro! You truly have the content creator vibe, just get a better thumbnail artist & ask your editor to do better cuts, the zooms & all, sound design is spot on.
For the second game with the soldiers I would just use 5 soldiers from the start for round 1 2 3 4 and I would probably win all 4 rounds that way and I would only need 4 wins because there could be 7 games
