Hey all hope you enjoy this first ever Retro Video games Tip Video #1 ! More to come...stay tuned ! #nintendo #videogames #Retro #Xbox #Playstation #retrogames #gameboyadvance
Thank you for choosing The Minish Cap specifically for the video! 🙏 Oh yeah, back in 2014 when I started collecting I paid $60 for a copy so it's been expensive for a long time lol. $75-80 is a good price if they're legit. There are a bunch of copies on eBay right now that would make me a little paranoid if I were in the market for one
Also, when taking the cartridge apart the screws differ as well..fake carts have pointy screws and are bright in color, real carts screws have flat ends and are a little duller in color.
Thanks for the video. I was worried I got scammed when I bought Metroid off eBay because there was no ware on the cart or label. However it passed all the test. Now I’m just excited I got a nice copy of the game.
Thank u its very quality information for what i searching for, i live in Ukraine in Krivoi Rog and here in market u can find gba games like for 3 to 5 $ and even seller don't properly dat games is pirated copy or original, but not i know and it will help my to collecting for my GBA, ty man.
Awesome ! I'm very happy you found this video to be helpful. I intended for it to be informational and I'm very happy to hear. Thank you for the feedback , have a great weekend
That is fantastic news! Hopefully you got it for a good deal! Always nice to know you have an authentic legitimate copy. Stay Tuned for more, thanks for watching.
Yep that is true, they chose to not use actual GOLD on the circuit board to prevent high cost of manufacturing, but the end result is they will not last as long as a REAL Nintendo cartridge. Thanks for watching.
I'm almost 100% this is true for PAL games as well. Ok my next video I'll do a small segment to show you PAL games follow the same methods. Thanks for watching !!
OK, so if you're buying a repro, just to play... And you know it's a repro, cause you only paid five bucks on aliexpress.... Is there a quality difference? Or would I not even notice?
You wouldn't notice a big difference, it will take a bit longer to load, as the original system has to read a different circuit set, but it will work in the end. Will it last as long years to come, probably not but its worth it just play the game i say go for it on the $5 margin, you can't lose.
There is a possibility it may still be repro. Does it have black saudered boxes on the circuit board ? I have heard of instances of repro cartridges blatantly printing Nintendo all over the unit to seem authentic.
It’s unfathomable to see how many North American retro shoppers carelessly spend on overpriced Pokémon copies. I’ve saved so much money building my collection of N!nt0ndo games by sorting for the lowest price. LOL JK
