I couldn't think of anything but this event the whole day. I've never felt so scared for a game my entire life, this is by far the darkest thing I've seen and I've seen a lot of things. I can't explain the feeling but it feels like I have failed to save someone who I've loved dearly although this is just a game. Let's hope this will be a happy ending. This event absolutely shattered my heart and SEGA is a beast for that. Nothing has ever made me feel this way.

(Some spoliers and me being a nerd) I like the detail on Mizuki's card being the only one with something covering her eyes. Yes, her card is darker compared to the others, but she's also blind. Perhaps its because in her eyes, she was blind to think that she would be able to tell Ena peacefully about herself, without anything ruining it. Blind to think that even with encouragement from KAITO, MEIKO, and Rui would help her get enough courage.

This song has a melody of anxiety, so fitting for the theme of the story of this event.

we got this song but at what cost

what i noticed is that mizuki never sings with anyone except kaito. her voice sounds more raspy and has way less emotion than her normal voice. their ever once cheerful personality is now gone. i think that mizuki is not singing with other members as they doesn't want the other n25 members to find out about it (the secret), especially ena. thus only singing with kaito. i am predicting in future n25 events (until ena5), they will keep a distance from contacting them. this card is also portraying the emotions well for them. however, this is just a theory, so correct me if i am wrong. :) 💫edit: i went on to view area convos, however clicking on mizuki, the game popped up a notification. most likely, it says something about mizuki not currently present. in the character screen, they has lost the light in her eyes, like mafuyu before. i think that mizuki has lost all their trust in everyone, except virtual singers (i think?). their lyrics are all about leaving them alone and talking about their secret and how they want to hide it that badly and unfortunately was shown to ena. 💫now, knowing that mizuki will NEVER ever appear in the real world ever again temporarily, EN/ global players, take this time to view all mizuki's area convos, even screen record them if you want to, as mizuki will most likely never appear in the real world ever again for quite sometime, isolating themselves in their room or the empty sekai. the card already shows the difference between them and other n25 members, having a significant colour contrast from white to black. if you ever read the story, there will be a pop notification about them disappearing for a while. 💫yes, i know i am extremely incorrect on some parts, and spreaded misinformation. my biggest apologies, please do not take my theory seriously as i am only speculating from my point of view. i am only briefly looking at the main points of the story and song and misinterpreted some parts. my sincere apologies for spreading misinformation.

This event was absolutely sickening. The wait for Ena5 will be so much worse than the wait for Mizuki5. I'm worried they'll drag it out by doing Kanade5 first which would then fully revolve around the aftermath of this event. and then we have to wait AGAIN until Ena5 for it to actually get resolved. The absolute earliest I think Ena5 could happen is December... it'll be rough.

This song is so intense but so depressing at the same time. Mizuki sounds so done with everything. Their vocals show this so much. I feel so terribly sad and worried about what happens next for mizuki. Also, mizuki has really lost the light in their eyes. That shows that this may possibly be by the darkest event in pjsk. Plus in the song Mizuki only ever sings with KAITO so in my mind it makes sense for these two to have a duet cover.

IN THE VID THE TITLE HAD ALL THE NIIGO COLORS ON IT AND AT THE END MIZUKIS COLOUR WAS MISSING. YOURE SICK YOURE SICK AND TWISTED (i love that datail)

This was supposed to be a happy occasion. This was supposed to be Mizuki's crowning achievement, their victory, the culmination of all their courage, rewarded by the love and acceptance from Ena (and consequently Niigo) they always wanted. To finally declare they've stopped running away. But no. It was ripped from them. Eviscerated. Left to die by the side of the road. "I can't go back to being a bud again" was supposed to be a resounding statement, a declaration of no longer living in fear, and being able to truly live as themselves. Instead, the line dips at the last word, emphasizing the cruel defeat. This was supposed to be happy. The chorus sounds sparkly. There are distorted remnants of the joy. Broken fragments of happy delusions scattered on the ground, twinkling in the cold, harsh, gray light of reality. "Agh! Ive had enough..."

Some things i noticed: The key change before the second chorus represent’s mizuki trying to make herself feel like their secreet won’t seem to be accepted by ena but then when it actually happens (despite it being a huge misunderstanding) everything just goes dark for her The master fc combo for this is 1003 representing mizuki feeling somewhat betrayed by the rest of n25 and the growing distance between them after ena gives mizuki the seemingly disgusted look. (1 is mizuki, 00 is the space, 3 is the rest of niigo) This theory would explain why mizuki does not sing with any other n25 member and only sings with Kaito. Meanwhile, Mafuyu and Kanade, the two oblivious to what just went on between ena and mizuki together Mizuki just sounds so much more dark, painful, and as someone else said raspy throughout this song and that final “mou ii ya” was just a stab in the heart for me.

i left the fandom a while ago but this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE commission song. the vibes of the mv, mizuki feeling like an outcast more than ever with everything they have right now changing. they cant avoid telling the truth anymore. the sheer panic in the instrumentals and vocals like their paranoia is catching up to them, the theme of the cards being parallel to idsmile. the title (as someone mentioned its a play on a japanese phrase that roughly means 'wolf in sheep's clothing') the lyrics, this is really the best one for me. prsk cooked and nakiso did as well.

Honestly, I was close to a panic attack once Mizuki was outed, it felt so stressful and scary seeing a normally happy character go through it in such a painful way made me just ATRURBDJH Also I was not expecting for the song to be open and direct in the song mentioning despair of “As if I am made to end the curse of being born, I’ll stop breathing now” That surprised me so much to hear in the song!!! It was so blunt and open about how much despair and fear Mizuki felt in the moment, oh god thank you proseka for being blunt about Mizuki’s identity and how horrid the emotions and state of mind were

I just realized, seeing all of the cards together, that Mafuyu and Kanade have blank expressions, because they are completely in the dark about what is going on/not involved really with this yet, while Mizuki, Ena, and Kaito all have sad or very emotional expressions, because they all know what is going on and are involved (Kaito less so, which is why he still looks less expressive) (Idk if this makes sense or if I’m just saying words-)

I think I’m actually delusional bc i SWEAR i hear meiko at 1:32 😭😭 ik it’s just mizuki under the voice effects but itd be so cool if they really added a short meiko backing vocal there just to signify her importance to mizuki. bit of spoilers but she and kaito were the ones who gave her reassurance and advice (although the reassurance feels more on meikos part) and are *probably* the only people she feels somewhat comfortable around after the story. to have mizuki sing w them instead of any niigo members would be nice touch

theoretically this is also just so well made. The modulation going back while first trying to start and the sudden abrupt change in tempo and then abrupt change back. It's so well made theoretically and it gives that feeling of breaking down and losing everything, especially with the end drums. The end drums feel (to me) like running away from whatever trauma just now happened and trying to dampen down the memory
