Gamefreak created a broken location for shiny hunting pokemon… 

Happy New Year everyone!! I love ya'll so much, you guys made my 2023 way better than i expected. It was a tough year for me mentally and physically but you guys always shown me love through my videos. As a thank you, i'm planning on doing a giveaway for the scarlet and violet dlc or maybe if i'm able.. a brand new nintendo switch with s&v. For anyone curious, you don't need all those ingredients. Just red peppers and your Herba are enough. This goes for any Sparkling sandwich. Just one ingredient plus your two Herba. Useful for anyone tight on ingredients.

Flash Fire Ceruledge is immune to Normal and Fire moves and has False Swipe too. No Sleep move though, but it’s still fine

In case someone wants to catch Litten in a Premier Ball but is scared of its Flare Blitz recoil, just make a Flash Fire mon as your lead. Ceruledge is the best in my opinion, as it also has False Swipe, but the Ninetales line also work, as they has access to Hypnosis for easier catch rate.

For anyone wondering, you can save in front of a shiny and if you fail it, you can reset the game and the shiny will pop back up.

ALWAYS SAVE before catching a shiny. If I didnt save before catching my shiny Morpeko yesterday, I would have lost it because I forgot to save my game before I logged off. When I logged back in today I saw a shiny Morpeko in front of me and I knew it wasnt there when I logged off. Checked my boxes to confirm.

Literally just save before you encounter the Litten (or whatever shiny you're about to capture) - if you fail you can just reload. Had to do this with a shiny Smeargle and it reappeared in the same spot after a second when I reopened the game.

To be fair you could just throw premier balls at full hp and hope for a critical capture

1:45 you can just save in front of your shiny in case you defeat it and reset as many times as you need in order to catch it. Saving will save the shiny too.

It took me 6 resets until I got lucky and got ONE in an outbreak. It’s my favorite starter too 😭

This works the same for Cyndaquil, since it only spawns in one small cave in the Polar Biome. I made an encounter and sparkle sandwich for fire and I found a shiny Cyndaquil in less than 10 minutes.

Pro tip: A better fire herba sandwich is 1 red bell pepper, 1 salty herba and 1 spicy herba (no different herbas or wont work)

You can use false swipe Ceruledge with the ability Flash Fire and you wont have to worry about Thrash or Flare Blitz

Guys. SAVE BEFORE YOU ENCOUNTER YOUR SHINIES. If they faint you can reload and theyll be there. Its been like this since Legends Arceus

People mentioning flash fire and ghost types to deal with recoil, but you can also use Magic Guard Clefable with skill swap. That nullifies recoil damage.

Interesting how this popped up on my timeline. My favorite starters are Tepig and Litten, and I happen to be a shiny hunter, currently trying to get all the starters.

Also, I use a Ceruledge with flash fire as recommended by someone in the comments, and started to throw them timer balls because they look the closest to the shinies. It took 5 timer balls for the first and 3 for the second, It is really amazing!

Just use Ceruledge, immune to thrash and immune to flare blitz. Still has access to false swipe.

That's why you use breloom... and get Neko-mi, the shiny incineroaring competitive menace, in an honor ball! I called it like that because I've heard little kids in anime just singing "neko neko miiii" when they find a cat (Neko=Cat), and it's so great my second favorite starter, litten, and my favorite starter shiny, litten, match so well with my favorite pokéball, honorball.

0:26 okay I swear that Golett in the back is shiny. I know it's dark, Golett doesn't change much and the camera is bad but that definitely looks darker than usual...

Gotta say, this is a case of "We won, but at what cost?", with having every single Starter in the game but the animations nerfed for the Gen 7 Pokemon

I highly suggest looking up the rice drop method for sandwiches, super easy ways to guarantee what you get! There are a couple of tricky types, but most are super easy. Just one rice + 1 or two condements (which determines the type) + 2 herba (of which you can adjust for what other power you may want)

I just realized that we can have a team full of pokemon on masterballs and it not be hacked or from another game/peraon

i found 3 shiny litten here using a level 1 encounter. legit one shiny was caught and right after another one popped up

GAH! I totally forgot about that area! I was shining hunting fire yesterday because I had an outbreak of Charmander near the entrance of the Terarium and wanted to use the last 8 minutes to hunt a shiny Litten or two and used the Canyon rest area instead so barely found the one. Had I remembered that area instead I could've gotten several instead of just 1. Dangit

Just throw pokeball when he’s facing opposite to you, you’ll know you did it roght because there’s a text that says “you caught litten off guard” this significantly increases catching rates, fast ball at the beginning and there’s a high chance to get it first try, if you have progressed through the story there’s a high chance you have the catching charm by now, meaning a critical throw is pretty much guaranteed from the start or at least after the 5th throw

If you use a flash fire chandelure it won't be able to do recoil or get confused.

there's a slightly better location due to it's proximity to a sole tepig spawn that is right next to a sole litten spawn (assuming sandwich buffs sorry full odds hunters) and it's ability to just spawn like 10 litten at once. I got four litten and three tepig in one sandwhich. i'm terrible at giving directions but I will say it's near water.

at this point they should just make it a toggle in the options "All pokemon are shiney? (y/n)" because people are obsessed with spending countless hours hunting them, so making them easy to get should be just a toggle button, its literally a palette change guys, not that special.

I always save before when I see a shiny, but I've been so lucky on my first try so far 😂 so to this day I don't even know if it works or not

Why'd they make all the starters hard to catch, but make the Static Legendaries easy to catch? I didn't use 50+ Ultra Balls to catch them like you have to in Sword and Shield.

Why do people not save before shiny encounters?

i accidentally made an electric sandwhich. didnt wanna waste the herba mystica but the only mons that spawned there were elekid and magnemite which are seriously not easy to shiny hunt 😂

I must be doing something wrong, tried this method 2 times in a row, not a single shiny. And that's with the herba and the shiny charm.

I always look up what level range the Pokemon I’m shiny hunting is and what moves the will have for this exact reason lol. Preparing for recoil moves is easy if you know they have them

Too bad I don't have DLC... Especially since Shiny Litten is one of my favourite shinies...

Litten has such a nice vibrant white shiny and it works perfectly with him with red, torracat has a nice white like kittens but orange doesn’t go well with white, but incinaroar goes with grey, red, white, but there is less white on Incinaroar’s shiny but it’s still pretty good! (My brother got one yesterday) what’s your opinions about it?

bring flash fire cereledge with false swipe - flare blitz wont affect it / Thrash won’t affect it

For Thrash and Double-Edge I use Ghost Tera, for Fire Blitz I use Flash Fire/Well-Baked Body😎

Did this method today, got the shiny near the end of my first sandwich! And it was the last shiny starter that I needed!

At least try the quick ball first turn before using master ball. Also, flare blitz won't one shot it so you could try a premier ball for a bit before it can knock itself out.

I found a Shiny Treecko whioe I was in the process of catching all of the Starter Pokémon for the Blueberry Pokédex.

I actually went back and forth from this location and another. I found one shiny at the other location

Why not just save in front of the shiny? Then you don't have to worry about wasting a master ball or failing from self knock out. Seems like really bad advice after such descriptive info on where to stand for this trigger.

Personally on my shiny encounters, I find they're easier to catch in most cases than regular? For instance I usually try to match the ball type to the shiny color, and seldomly have I had to throw multiple balls or use moves like false swipe, etc. I find this game kinda forgiving in that matter, maybe just my experience? I don't know, thanks for the tips though!

Repeat Ball spamming and just in case escape and encounter again, that way it will have full HP.

So for some dumb-ass reason when I try to picnic in the biodome in the area mentioned in this video my table does not want to appear it does the puff of smoke that says it appeared but it's not appearing

Use Ceruledge to catch Litten, that way Thrash and Flare Blitz won’t work. Don’t use a masterball. Lol 😆
