I find it funny how it is said in game, iron treads is cruel by nature. Then you have a bunch of them follow you and they give a happy noise and expression.
Its possible to hunt in this spot with encounter power 2 and no herba mystica, but it takes a while longer depending on your luck and if you have shiny charm or not
I can't speak for violet but you can pretty much find flutter mane, great tusk, brute bonnet, and scream tail like this. Maybe sandy shocks too? I don't know
if you do 1 pickle and 1 cucumber and 3 ingredients of the type you want, you can mix and match all Herba Mystias for encounter power and sparkling power except for 2 bitters, 1 sweet and 1 bitter, and 2 bitters, which will give you catching power instead of encounter power for curtain types. Also, you get way more spawns for paradox mons just by running around the underground part of Area Zero after eating a sandwich of a type you want, including Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon.
If you do tomato onion green pepper hamburger followed by two of the same ingredient depending on the type for example tomato for fairy, you can make a sparkling and encounter 3 for all the types using any combination of any two herba mystica
Salty herba has never really been a rarity for me. My stock of salty has always been larger than than the rest. B4 all the recipes came out i had like 12 salty and 3 or 4 of the rest
Sweet herbas are definitely the hardest to come by, spicy herba is easily the most common at least in my experience. Right now I have 12 spicy, 4 sweet, 10 bitter, 7 salty and 8 of the other one. I've found that using level 2 sandwiches for extra encounters works just fine for getting shinies so I haven't used my herba much. Especially with outbreaks there's only been a few where I haven't gotten the shiny.
@@blackdragon620 That's interesting, perhaps we may just be encountering different raid Mons that provide extra chances for a certain herba. Honestly I'm just glad I found a good method to obtaining herba, and with the recipe list to use any kind of herba for hunts.
@@patricksass6577 that’s pretty much been confirmed now I think, certain Pokémon with high hp stats(I’m looking at you blissey) or ones that like to use spore a lot(amoongus or breloom) or other tougher than normal Pokémon, they do give extra drops
Tried this three times and didn’t get a single one. At least you can reset when this happens. I’ve gotten every paradox Pokémon in Violet except iron treads. I seem to have bad luck with that one. Going to try again later when I’m not so frustrated. Luckily I now have 32 Herba Mystica.
Funny thing is, I just watched this video, and I found a Shiny Magnemite AND a Shiny Iron Treads in one sandwich! Welp, it really helps finding the other Paradox Mons.
been using it for Dudunsparce hunting and have gotten over 50 shinies at this rock already, great location! (Definitely not guaranteed for each sandwich tho, I've gone a few times not getting a single shiny in 1 or even 2 sandwiches)
Im not sure if most of the recipes dont work, but the fairy recipe on the list shown early on, doesnt give encounter rate, gives teensy rate unless i messed something up, but also gave shiny and title encounter rate up for flying
I was just trying this method and a shiny great tusk spawned on the very edge of the despawn border so it disappeared within half a second- (I did get it just at the 10 minute mark of my boost so not clickbait ig, but do note, as you despawn the great tusks/iron treads, more will spawn in place of those unoccupied spawn points, so you might have an instance like me if you run away too fast)
turn off auto save and do a manual save before you make a sandwich so if your unlucky you can reset and make another sandwich without consuming more ingredients
you can mix any herbs for shiny/title/encounter lvl3, just get 2 herbs , 1 tomato, 1 onion, 1 green pepper, 1 hamburger and then 2 type specific ingredients (for tusk its 2 pickles)
@@Radgaze. I second that! I would suggest just doing a quick google search, under the picture result you will find the original - i think twitter - post really quickly! I just have a screenshot saved to my photos to reference C:
I just use encounter power lv.2...My question is, why does iron treads look shiny from a distance? Never mind, I found 2 shiny iron treads...both within 20 encounters of each other(literally a minute after the first one). I only used 1 hamburger and both herba mystica, that apparently worked lol
I tried to spawn Iron Jugulis on there and immediately got 1 shiny just by arriving there. But since that, the spawn is randomly turned into very less and even only spawn 1 till the sandwiches timer out. Any idea why?
I had the same thing happen with iron thorns. Found it in 10 seconds. And then I found a shiny iron hands like seven minutes later and then decided to go back in the building but took a look around right before I did and noticed another shiny iron thorns. All this in less than 10 minutes. Then I didn’t find anything during the remaining 20 minutes.
Just finished the game so still No herba and I gotta say is really annoying seen videos titled "Shinny hunt *withOUT* ANY HERBA!!!!!" Just to see them immediately go X, Y, ingredient and *ANY 2 HERBA MISTICA*
@@Noivern87 From what I read, there are certain 5* and 6* raids that have a chance of awarding more Herbas than any other. I mentioned two earlier, but I can't remember the rest off the top of my head. _(I think Blissey was one of them, but good luck bringing down THAT particular wrath sponge...!)_
people might/probably already know this, but making yourself a tasty dark sparkling sandwich gives you iron jugulis for days, just like iron threads c: same location as well
Sweet & Sour will never work with this recipe, and you added unnecessary amount of ingredients, you can drop any 1 of the peppers or prosciutto for Steel recipe, or even replace any of them with tomatoes, onions, cherry tomatoes, bacon, avocado, red onions, cucumbers, pickles, klawf sticks, ham etc.
Some things to note: 1. Turning off the game and reloading if you've saved after eating gets rid of the boosts if I recall correctly. 2. As seen in the video, to respawn them you just need to move back and forth. Every time you do that, it essentially rerolls all of the Pokemon, giving you a chance for a shiny. 3. The Pokemon that spawn there depend on the sandwich. What you see spawn there is what you get for the sandwich. Quitting and coming back won't change it. I believe Pokemon specific to Area Zero will have higher priority over any others with that type, so for instance in Violet, eating an ice sandwich will produce Iron Bundles instead of Frosmoth. 4. Without a sandwich, the game will instead have a random bunch of Pokemon native to Area Zero spawn on the rock. 5. Restarting your game will produce the same results as going back and forth in terms of despawning and respawning any Pokemon on the rock. If you're having trouble, get some herba, save before the entrance, make a sandwich using this guide: ht tps://im gur. com/ a/BT uym Y3 and make your way down to the rock, then proceed to move back and forth to de and respawn them until you spot a shiny.
Your herba mystica requirements are all wrong lmao, you don't need 3 for most of them, all you need is 1 salty and then 1 other and the boosts will still be the same
I really like your content. Just found you and your short but well edited videos are quite good. Only thing I find quite annoying are your video titles of addressing Gamefreak. Don't know why but its clickbaity as f*ck and I'm pretty sure you don't need that.
