Well, the battle animations were fire, I don’t think anyone disputes that. But other animations, like in the overworld were horrible and looked like they were from games out of the 2000s (Im referring mainly to the animation of Zacian/Zamazenta turning while walking in place.) Also not to mention the other problems the game had.

@@Charliestrife01 animation wise sure but the actual battle system is horribly designed in PLA. Strong/Agile style was cool in concept but terrible in actual combat.

@@GAMMA.999 I got it by someone trading me shiny Zacian and Zamazenta through suprise trade, and then since I haven’t played the game in a while I forget what the place is called, but it’s like a shop/bid centre next to an ocean or smt, you have to talk to a specific NPC and he will give you a list of items, what I remember is that you have to do the time skip glitch where you make your console 1 day ahead over and over until you get the rusty sword and rusty shield, then give them to their respective pokemon and when you battle, they turn crowned! Still look up a guide because I haven’t played the game for like 6 months

I absolutely agree with swsh having amazing move animations (at least for signature moves. Let’s ignore the fact double kick exists) I don’t think gamefreak will ever fix scarlet and violet’s bugs. We’re getting a new game in 2025. It’s such a shame they won’t even be bothered to fix it but they have a chance with the new game.

@@THGMR-ox7sd were not getting gen 10 until 2026 going with the pattern on when games release, they are going to be 4 years apart gen 8 was 2018 and gen 9 was 2022 so gen 10 is 2026

Zamazentas signature move Behomoth Bash is supposed to be what replaces Iron Head, but game freak was lazy and didn't even add it to the game

@@avaluggglazer445 not as far as I aware, unless you mean the setting to skip....all of them, unsure if that was in this game, but I like seeing the animations, don't like a full movie for a move

@@Koorogane Skipping move animations isn't in this game (since they did trim them down already) but I'm pretty sure it was in sword and shield so if they made certain moves keep their more cinematic animations they could've given an option to skip them instead of ruining them (or they could've kept some the same like cinderace's pyro ball)

Thats a lame ass reason from a multibillion company. That's this game keep getting worse. Even SMT V that have less budget than Scarlet and Violet still have better animation than all of those. When pokemon finally starts getting cool animation the devs start become way lazier

@@codmlover23These guys will make every excuse for Gamefreak to continue doing the absolute bare minimum to sell games. They aren’t a small indie company and they make boatloads of money. Hopefully a true competitor shows up so they can start putting some effort into the Pokémon games again.

BRUHH The raid battles are still laggy af. Stop defending game freak for them to do the base minimum

Tera raids are awful and if one of the things that have to be sacrificed to even make tera raids SOMEWHAT functional is make all attack moves look lame af then remove Tera raids.
