Funny thing I noticed: - Anubis seems kind of chill with Lucario, cos that's what the subtitles say lol. - Meanwhile Lucario is highly competitive, rambling about stats, blah blah blah... But those two would totally get along if it weren't for their trainers lol

I love how the pal trainer didn't give a single command, he just made subtle threats and the pals did the rest lol

You know what I love about this other than the animation? That it shows the blatant similarities and comparrisons without the guy with the pokemon directly complaining about it or adressing it. Its a breath of fresh air.

lucario anubis fight got more development than entire anime lol “use high jump kick” immediately followed by three kicks, right hook, then left uppercut. *scuffle scuffle* into second impact. lucario goes for same combo again. I THOUGHT this was kinda lazy. UNTIL anubis realizes he’s seen those first three kicks before, adapts by attempting to kick him out of the coming right hook. successful at stopping the right hook, but lucario reads the read and catches the kick then continues the onslaught into the final impact hit. I swear this amount of detail in that fight goes waaaaay beyond my expectations.

Had a blast being a part of this project! This was my first voice role ever, and I had an amazing time voicing Lucario. Hope to do more stuff like this in the future!

I absolutely ADORE the details in the Anubis and Lucario fight! Lucario seems to be using some form of Kickboxing stance for most of his moves and he's constantly keeping an arm near his head as part of his quick jabs. Anubis meanwhile is mixing in open palm strikes with his punches and uses several sweeping kicks throughout. He also tries to redirect some of Lucario's punches instead of outright blocking them and, when Lucario breaks their stalemate with his kicks, he tries to recover by performing another kick that's utilising the added momentum from him reeling due to the aforementioned strikes. I don't know exactly what hsi fighting style is based off but it's hella cool! The amount of detail with those two is absolutely incredible! I also get the feeling that they'd be on friendly terms if it weren't for their trainers.

Don't worry about Rilaboom! Since the underaged pokemon trainer is kidnapped by this fully responsible Palworld explorer, the grass gorilla along with other Pokemon will recover in the Pal Base for 10 minutes! That trainer came with a big bundle of labor! (forgive me)

When compared directly like this, it really does showcase the intended audience differences. Pokemon is a kid friendly game while PalWorld is Pokemon without the age restriction. Because in reality, Pokemon is fighting for sport which has rules, while PalWorld is fighitng for survival and all is fair there.

So, I know this vid is basically to show the differences and similarities between the two , mostly the differences, especially how the trainers and tamers treat their companions as a joke, but I actually need to bring this up. I am actually too attached to my Pals. I never got the butcher's knife, I never used the podium, I think that's what it is, to make my Pals work more, I go out of my way to ensure they have good meals other than just berries or the bare basics. I do use the condenser for the essence and I do breed a lot, but I never chuck the parents in or use the children for the essence. Yes, this means I intentionally make myself suffer to get a high rank Pal, but despite it being a game, it affects me like Undertale does. In fact, the worse thing I do is put certain pals on the fabricators just to speed up the crafting and even then I let them go back to whatever they were doing before. I also do put any Excess pals in the observation pens or whatever they're called, but those are mostly any humans I catch and everyone knows humans don't matter in Palworld.😁
