It's a great product, had my glasspass for about a year now...it's just so poorly optimised for older tablets. I personally can't and wont spend the money buying tablets just for this, and I am sure I am not alone in that. That is my only gripe with it.

I really do like GG and have several shards for SC and ED (looking forward to shards for NMS). However, I've found connectivity to GG's servers spotty lately. Extremely frustrating when trying to play a game. GG please work on server stability.

My apologies. My antivirus program was blocking gameglass. After getting those settings changed, the programs run fine and should be of great help.

Sold out on this. I paid in 2020 and now have to pay again for "new" shards. Disgusting commercial practices, I'll be deleting this app and building my own virtual keyboard.

I'm not super interested in saddling myself with another monthly bill. Have they canceled the whole "buy the shards you need" thing and moved to subscription only?

(A year later) as of May 2023, you can still only have a max of 2 shards on the free account. If you want to add more (so that you can jump between >2 shards during the game) then the only option is the monthly/annual pass. It's not expensive ($34 per year), though it would be good if they could offer the option of one-off purchases for more shard space. The 'make your own shard' feature is fantastic and, if you are patient, you might create 2 shards covering almost all your needs.

ok I like game glass here's some info for hotas user and others. example I wanted to change 0% throttle on game glass shard (g.g.s.) to left alt+4 to free up the default x key. went to ingame control menu(preset-game glass)> flight trottle>set speed 0%> change to left.alt+num.4>apply. go back to flying-the 0% throttle on game glass tablet will not work. you have to go to game glass on your pc> legacy shard keybinds>customize binds>flight throttle 0%>listening>press left.alt+num.4>save. go back to ingame flying g.g.s. 0% throttle tablet button will now work again.to me this needs to be fixed basically i have to key bind twice i should press sync on the tablet and this happen automatically. NOW FOR HOTAS USER. i use t1600 game glass pc customize binds will not pick up my hotas at all. so if you wanted to put engine boost on your throttle button 3 use the secondary slot and set button 3 there so g.g.s. button will work ingame and button 3 on the throttle. hope this helps really frustrating key bindings in this game key bindings drive me crazy period but once you get it all down so worth it. please please watch this guys 47 min video on key bindings also its a must to save the key bindings how he shows you. i think it would be so cool if game glass let you use your cell and tablet or two or three tablets at the same time imagine custom shards on one tablet legacy shards on another etc etc by the way i have not tried this maybe it works

If only FDev would expand the api to make this even more useable. Would be nice to never have to use the in-game screens. Or to be able to request docking with the push of a real life button.

A macro makes that easily doable. I don’t know if GG supports macros, but if it does there’s no reason why you couldn’t have a button that does docking requests.

the problem with gameglass previously to my understanding was a lack of real functionality. has this changed? can you interface with more things now? had a buddy that was real disappointed with his in the past...

Hey, thanks for the review! I know you are using HOTAS setup so my question is what functionality or experience GG adds to Star Citizen for example? You have a lot of buttons to map on joystick and throttle so where GG fits?

I was wondering the same thing, honesty if you have a hotas with lots of buttons there’s no point in gameglass. If instead it had both an information display and actions… that would actually make a tablet useful, but in this case it’s just one direction (buttons and that’s it). Seems pointless

How many shards and or devices can you have active and logged into GG at the same time?

With a free account you can have 2 shareds. With glasspass there are no limits. I'm not sure how many devices you can have active at once. But I have seen people run up to 4. More might be possible.
