I've been using the app for a few months now and it works wonderfully. The dev is passionate about his work, and happy to hop on and explain how things work as well as troubleshoot issues and take ( and turn around quickly) feature requests . We, the discord community, are all really helpful in dealing with the smaller TS issues before he has to step in so he has time to work on the app as well as do his day job haha.
So glad I found this video. I was considering gameglass but I Hate Subscription based stuff. Not only that, privacy, no data collection, that's just amazing.
I've been using this for a week or two at this point. I used to subscribe to GG, now I'm full time GTc. Sure, it isn't as pretty, it doesn't have all the fancy buttons and such, but it just works better. And it's much cheaper for all the features. And it has more features that I really love, like how it auto switches panels when you hit something like "Flight Ready", and switches you from the FPS to the flight panel, no need for you to manually switch (auto switches you back when you hit "Leave Seat", taking you back to the FPS panel). Virtually no lag on my cheapo Android tablets, _no disconnects because it doesn't talk to someone else's servers_, a one time payment of $3 USD that unlocks everything, compared to paying more than that every month for GG. You can customize it to an extent, I've set a color profile that I like, and I've modified several of the buttons on the screens to suit my needs better. It's easy synching devices as well. I just save the profile on one tablet, send it to the server (that runs only on my PC), retrieve the profile on another device, and apply. I've been in the GTc Discord since I started using the app, and the developer is seriously an awesome guy. I watched him spend almost an entire day troubleshooting with someone, resulting in him compiling a new 32bit version just for that person. I've never seen anything like that before. I've also asked about future plans, specifically for if/when CIG adds the API that gives us telemetry (like GG already does with Elite: Dangerous). He said that will be added once the API is there. Huge thumbs up from me. 👍
I know the developer and I can’t express just how much of a genuine dude he is. I do feel that this app has the added advantage of not only great construct but also extremely good customer service and support. I hope you get the pleasure of dealing with this developer firsthand as I did.
@@ThatBreaKguy Already using it, it's great! It took me a minute to figure out how to get the joy set uyp so the game would take slider feedback from the app but now that it's working i have zero complaints. - love it
This looks really great, I was not interested in the subscription funding model for Gameglass and this has everything that I need. I'll definitely be checking it out
I welcome this app soo much! As a Beta tester i've requested a few features that has already been implemented and that has made life a heck of a lot easier.. having this by your side when playing StarCitizen or any other game for that matter is such a "Quality of Life" instead of trying to remember all the keybindings for yourself.
Great review. I stepped out with a "Shut up and take my money" ! but it's too cheap for what it is, I'll raise that if he has some patreon somwhere. I hate monthly planned subs where you end up having a controller more expensive than your games... seriously. I hope this dev gets a lot of positiveness for his work.
Nice review! That looks like a great product. I'm especially interested in low-latency solutions as most of those controls are useless if they are laggy
Well so far its pretty instantaneous my man, really easy to set up and because it only relies on your own WiFi there shouldn't be any issues. Im looking forward to see where this goes!
That's one of the huge advantages of this over GG, there is no lag. I've been using this for a week or two now, and I still get surprised as how responsive it is, because I'm so used to GG having a delay.
I was about to get game glass when I came across your video. You and the developer made a convincing argument! Im always down to help the startup who has a true love for the game!
Saw that GameGlass had ridiculous prices for EVERY DIFFERENT SCREEN?!?! As well as a stupid SUBSCRIPTION MODEL?! Unbelievable. I was instantly disgusted. Your video came up, never heard of this, and like you said, no subscription, no data collection...I'm about to get it from the app store. I even like Great review, man.
I just discovered the application thanks to you. Thank you to you and the person who designed the application. The application works very stably. Thanks a lot..
I love this technology overall. It's brilliant. Some people find it a bit "cheaty" or lazy I find it adds immersion (maybe not all the commands but most of the inflight controls for sure)
Yeah I wouldn't say cheaty I mean...its pressing a button either way isn't it! This just looks better and obviously ease of use with it labelled. Looking forward to seeing where it it goes!
Just bought my copy... Got it going in the time my leftover KFC was microwaving for lunch... xD It works just as well as GameGlass and I can't find fault... I'm very happy. Would recommend... Also you can customize the buttons completely, change bindings, change label etc... (I at first thought it was a more static solution, but you can configure it pretty flexibly - just can't move buttons...) Also Gameglass messed up IMHO by trying to impose such overly exploitive business model (subsciptions suck!) so I'm happy I'm not supporting that douchey kind of mentality... Good job, GameTouch.
I’ve just started using the app and even went out and bought a inexpensive 7” tablet to use with it. This gives me 2 touch screens to use and so far I’m loving it. I’ve used GameGlass and the monthly fee really turns me off of it. Game touch controller is just what I was looking for. It was nice to make your own setups with game glass but I really didn’t use that function. Just wanted something that works and this is it.
I bought this app based on your review, I do like it. I’ll have to mention there is ActionPad as well, same server client model more or less, there are some community SC panels, and you can build your own as well as the interface to do so is early enough. Any thanks again!
I guess my reply really depends on how many other games you play.... I use a sim dash program... which for games that have output info (maps, speeds, general info) is perfect, and the user can (and sometimes expected) to create exactly what they want/need. for non supported games you can just make button boxes and you get 3 per device per game 'profile'. programs like game glass, and gametouch controller are great for this specific purpose of built/updated/ etc for this specific game. hopefully SC will have MFD info output and make this style of external add on tablet controllers even better for those running a "dash" ...or even completely dedicated sim style setups
I wish we could just have the actual mfds in reak life. Maybe ad an extra page for gear vtol and doors, but why dont we just got external mfd peripherals that function and control the in game mfds
GTc is close, some great features but for me I just love to be able to add a button when I want and to be able to change layout anytime I feel like makes GameGlass the winner for me for now.
Havent even tested it yet...But I am not rich so I can not afford the prices of GameGLass. THis seems much more personal anyway and being somewhat of a indie dev myself. I feel for the guy and I would rather support him than a company who is just seeing money! Thanks To the DEVS and @Citizen BreaK for Showing this to us!!! Will update as soon as I tested it myself :)
I want multiple screens, with different systems. like one tablet for radar, one for targeting, one for "video?" coms, etc... that way i can set up my system like a actual cockpit. (I'd love ship to ship video messaging, either the character with facial tracking, or webcam itself, to roast, and taunt targets. Imagine the RU-vid Videos!)
I have used both. And I must say I enjoy gameglass better. Hopefully he can make it better and keep working on the product. It can be fun and easy to use it’s just too new.
Agreed yeah it needs more time and love, I do like the privacy and sort of your own server as it were though. I think gameglass has alot of great customisable options and I'm hoping this dev can replicate some of that in the future. Competition is always good for us consumers! Thanks for the comment my man! Have a great day 😀
I am still chasing a system that allows GTc or Gameglass features but being able to use my 3rd monitor which is a 14inch touch screen, right now I either run the screen off the phone (phone gets hot) or a 2nd PC which is a mini PC........
I look forward to trying this out, as I had purchased shards from GG and took a year of from playing SC. I game back to find GG very buggy and just about broken. Wasn't able to correctly flip between the shards that I own and kept getting a "server is in maint and will be back shortly". Which, if I purchased it, and loaded the PC and Ipad parts why do I need their server to be active to play. Starting to wonder what's going on with GG.
What would you recommand between MS Surface pro2 128 Go for 100$ and Galaxy tab A SM-T510 32 G0 (baugh in 2019) for free for this software? Thanks

Hi! Whenever I touch the touchscreen the game minimizes (if on fullscreen) or loses focus (if borderless). In any case I lose control of whatever is happening in the game... How do I solve that? Thanks!
I'm a little confused. Does this app go on your phone, then how does it link to your game? Or if I had a small touch screen connected to my PC by wire can I just send it to be on that?
No pal it will be fine 👍 the developer has a discord channel as well that you can join and ask any questions there as well, they are all very helpful people!
Yeah I don't know what happened to be honest and couldn't make it better either unfortunately hence the note I put on apologising about the audio. I'll try find the issue.
@@SandMan_86 I've not got the best equipment truth be told and obviously making nothing from youtube I cant pump it back into the channel 🤷🏻♂️ maybe one day eh haha thanks for the comment matey appreciated 👍
True its a couple of quid but if you wanted more profiles with gameglass its all money money. Plus it runs through their servers not your own, but its all healthy competition which is great!
Great review! I just hopped on developer's discord and he's legit! I believe he also has a camera control panel now that would be fantastic for cinematic creations and is what drew my interest.
