_Tovarishi! It's good to see you all here, today. And it will be even better, to see you soon, breaking through that wall! Then we'll teach those NATO dogs how to fight! They thought they could bully us into submission! They thought we'd give way and fold! But today, we'll show them that the Red Army bows to no-one! Today, we'll show them the might of the Soviet Union! Get to your vehicles - we go to war!..oh wait ))_

@@crimson7554 The Ukrainian president paid for his mistakes. Also in the south-east of Ukraine, the Nazis kill and rape Russian-speaking people, which should be punished by the world community, but everyone did not care. Putin does not want a third of the world, he wants the security of Russia's borders, and Zelensky wanted to join NATO. Putin struck a preventive blow.
@@lucasmoroko1854 another old timer that most people here in the comments may remember is operation flashpoint cold war crisis, red hammer and resistance, and of course who could forget the conflict series such as conflict vietnam, desert storm desert storm 2 and global storm...
Тем кто создал этот трейлер надо фильмы снимать или, как минимум, какие-нибудь кульминационные моменты делать. Потому что настолько зрелищно! А песню-то какую правильную подобрали! Вообще обалдеть!
The ambiance which they managed to get with the creation of this is simply unbelievable. If this is put just after the previous one, the one that says that 'diplomatic talks were still going on', if nears perfection in an almost unspeakable way. Long live WiC, and thanks Massive for this piece of 'entertainment' that will live forever inside the hearts of the players of old, those who first shed the battleground with their blood, before the game went AWOL. To those of you, salutations.
@@bacilluscereus1299 I just wish life was back to normal, wish I could go back 4 years to the summer of 2016 when I was playing late night world in conflict in a LAN party with my friends 😔
I've been an avid Russian Red Army Choir fan since I was 11, now I'm 24. When World in Conflict was released, I knew I was going to be drawn to the Soviets. And I was. Very offended when drafted to the USA. The choir has my loyalty. No army nor government can change that.
@@MERKATORA I just returned from sea and we saw things play out (so far) from there and yeah....dang. i made a similar comment at an old Prelude to War thing not long ago with a similar tone. Things actually turned bad.
@@arn_ice turned bad? What do you mean? It is a good news. Finally russia fights the american imperialism and take some actual actions to protect itself. We started peacemaking military operation in Ukraine to liberate Ukraine from the nazis and protect ourselves from the westerj aggression and tyranny. Glory to Russia! Finally enough is enough and Kievan regime will pay for every its crime against humanity and my people and the history commited on donbass for the last 8 years! And the west provoked this whole thing intentionally
You can call in an APC or any other troop carrier while playing with Infantry, but at a higher cost than normally. Also if there are a maximum of 4 players you can use the 'few player mode' so you can call in any unit, and without any penalties. It's a great game, I still can't have enough of it.
This game looks awesome!!! The song does a good job of describing the Red Army. I love the Cold War and Soviet-style music, so I think I'll buy this game!!
@@nunesv5882 you think so? see theres this site called oryxspioenkop, its compiling all russian and ukranian equipment loses with pictures, as of time of writing, russia has lost 618 vehicles, among them 90 tanks, 181 APCs/IFVs and 41 artillery pieces russia has already lost 61% the amount of tanks, 13% the amount of APCs/IFVs and 9% of the amount of artillery they lost during the soviet-afghan war, and its only been one week, the soviet-afghan war lasted 10 grueling years, what do you think its going to happen if ukranian insurgency starts forming up, with western support, and with the russian economy in shambles? oh and those losses numbers?, oryxspioenkop only counts losses for which they can find photos, meaning the ukranians got close enough to take a picture, chances are, the total material losses for the russians are even higher, and its anybody's guess how many russian soldiers have been killed, injured or captured so far the russians are still advancing but they are paying dearly for every step, and even if they occupy the territory its almost certain they will not be able to control it remember, the USSR didnt fall because of a NATO invasion, it fell because the soviet economy just couldnt keep up, and the russian economy isnt doing particularly well at the moment
Watching this again. That last part is still fking awesome. Imagine those Russian soldiers making their last stand, already surrounded by Americans/European soldiers and suddenly a Russian Tank drop from the sky and started firing against the capitalist dogs. As some go saying "Drop a tank in the mall"
Actually the ERA(explosive reactive armour) on both t80's and t72's was far more superior than what the americans fist anticipated. The 105mm cannon firing kinetic rounds from a Abrhams had little to no effect on the armor, They needed several attempts to penetrate from the front armor. And that is why the nato standard cannon has been upgraded to 120mm, patrially because of the ERA and aslo because of the 125mm on the t80's and t72's
14 years late but correction... both the 120mm L44 and 105mm L7 werent really capable of penetrating the T-80 and T-72 with Kontakt-5 ammunition... at the dawn of 1989 (the time where the game occurs) no nato APFSDS round could successfuly penetrate the T-80U or T-72B with K-5 as proven by the west german tests of 1994... in fact only one tank round at that time... the M829A2 could successfully penetrate soviet armor with K-5 ERA... but that was only at very close ranges and was deemed unsuitable for combat performance... hence the development of the M829A3 with a steel tipped penetrator in order to mitigate the effects of the Kontakt-5 reactive armor
@ModelbuildingTANKS Red October is fictive, and even if it wasn't, that submarine in the clip isn't the Akula (Typhoon) class attack submarine, but the Kondor (Alpha) class submarine. Not intended to flame, just some useful pieces of information! ^_^
@Brian91506 I agree. I could understand the use of the B-2 for reconnaissance and other missions like that, just too expensive to risk for bombing missions, that's why you have the B-52. The same with the UAV aircraft that you have, but I also believe that unmanned aircraft might become the future, but nor for a long time.
Virgin US HQ Support: drop supplies for our troops and take artillery request. Chad Soviet HQ Support: Drop a fucking MBT over our own troops and a big, fucking big red parachute to make them feel the Mother Russia blood.
@romanholysvt yes, its one of the soviet topol ICBM's. This mobile version gives the missle extra range and its harder to destroy, as there is no fixed location at which missle might be, as opposed to silos, which are usually first targets.
Huge difference between the modern Russian Army and the Red Army of the Cold War. Right up until the collapse of the USSR, Western analysts predicted that the Red Army could overrun NATO forces in Europe in just six weeks. That's when they would have reached the Rhine and the war would have gone nuclear. The Russian Army meanwhile... Well, most of their materiel is former Soviet gear that's spent the past 30 years rotting and/or rusting in storage. The stuff that wasn't sold on the black market. The majority of their tech is decades out of date, despite all the propaganda about hypersonic missiles and such.
Meanwhile, the strongest American army in the world was forced to flee Afghanistan. Modern realities are such that neither side currently has the army and military spending to wage war as during the Second World War or as it could go during the Cold War. Otherwise, the United States would have continued to pour colossal money into the army and nuclear weapons, while in Russia they would have already announced full mobilization and put the economy on a war footing.
and now people still think that russia is the soviet union lool Ukrainians were part of USSR with more than 10 other nations and Russia and Ukraine got huge stocks gor the same weapons soviets used bro if this happened in the soviet era , believe me it gonna be much worse for Ukrainians than Russians
So i have a friendly question (no politic bullshit): In the end of the trailer when the soldiers rush forwards beside the tank who came trough the roofwindow. They scream something, sounds for me like "darushka". My parents had russian in school (we are from eastern germany) but dont know what they saying. You may know it?!
