GAMEPLAY EXCLUSIVO de Hollow Knight: Silksong 

Since this video is still getting some attention, we thought it would be a good idea to add a bit of context (maybe this way the disrespectful comments will stop). This Hollow Knight: Silksong demo was available at a Nintendo event in Gamepolis 2019 (Málaga, Spain) in july of the same year. It's probably the exact same demo that was shown on the Threehouse: Live during E3. When starting, you could choose between two levels: the first, mossy area where the game begins, and the lava-bronze area, which takes place later in the story. That second level ended with the Lace boss fight, so there wasn't anything more after that. The guy playing is an avid Hollow Knight fan who has put hundreds of hours into the original game, and even finished challenges like the Path of Pain or the fight against Nightmare King Grimm. That doesn’t mean he is a skilled player, but he definetly isn’t someone who is trying Hollow Knight for the first time. This was also the first (and only) time playing the game, and even knowing the basics of Hollow Knight, there are a lot of new gameplay mechanics that you have to properly learn to play through. This might sound easy, but when you have a limited amount of time and you are surrounded by other people, waiting in line to play after you, it is not. It’s also important to note that someone from Nintendo was beside him, telling him what to do or where to go to save some time. That’s why sometimes looks like he’s randomly moving around. Oh, and he wasn’t just chilling on a sofa; he was playing while standing all the time. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the gameplay. We come here from time to time to remember ourselves that we actually played Hollow Knight: Silksong. Fingers crossed we get a release date soon!

my favorite difference from hollow knight is how the enemies react to you being killed (for example, lace laughs), instead of still trying to attack you as the death animation plays

I feel like the bosses in Silksong are going to be a lot harder than in the original. Hornet can heal three masks instantly while the knight can only heal one mask but only after a few seconds. This makes me think that the bosses are going to be a lot more fast paced and will give you little time to breath except when they're staggered. Also, Hornet has a completely new moveset from the knight so it might make the game a little more challenging in the beginning since you have to learn how to fight as a whole different character.

The way Hornet hikes herself up onto ledges is adorable

Her “Garama” must basically mean something like “show yourself!” Or “I will not hesitate to strike you down!” Or some kind of warning.

Finally some clean audio for the music, Moss Grotto sounds amazing

Thank you sooooo much for this video! I finally get to watch some Silksong footage where I can actually hear the in-game atmosphere and music. The subtle musical tones in the background of the Deep Docks is incredible, and the Moss Grotto theme is so good. I'm even more hyped for the music in this game now because honestly, I think the Moss Grotto theme is even better than most if not all of the themes from the first game.

It's gonna be really weird to be attacking stuff and hearing her muttering something. I'm so used to just the sound of the nail and the Knight never muttering any sound

Its been 2 years ever since the demo and the announcement, this game better be worth it, and will have an incredibly large and a lot of areas to explore

Lo que siempre me a gustado de Hollow Knight es la musica, es increible como te hace sentir cómodo estuvieras ahi, siendo tranquila en los bosques y frenética en las batallas de jefes. Lo único que puedo pensar ahora de SilkSong es que es Precioso, y parece que los controles van a ser muy difíciles, pero por eso es un Metroidvania

I´m very glad that her grunts and shouts that she utters while moving and jumping are more subtle, otherwise it would be very annoying, listening to her constant banter also the way Lace cackles at the end of the fight...

What is curious is that hornet uses her needle as a nail but in hollow knight she never used it as a nail, she used her needle against the knight with silk abilities or with the tools such as “spike balls” which is interesting, if she used the needle as a blade we would be totally destroyed in hollow knight XD

Hace poco que tengo la Switch y el Hollow Knight, aun no me lo he terminado y tengo unas ganas tremendas de tener el Silksong. Es un juegazo y lo que llevo me ha hecho tenerme enganchado de una manera que hace tiempo que no me divierte un juego. Pintaza esta secuela/precuela

Para los que esperan. Después de la actualización de Hallowen, y que este trailer fuese lanzado en San Valentin, se cree y se espera que SilkSong salga en navidades, si llega a ser el caso preparen sus carteras.
