Why can't they just improve the defensive players ability to pick off passes? Instead, they just allow illegal interference? That's a bold strategy cotton, let's see if it pays off for 'em.
I am not even mad for picking passes, but I hate when my Dman makes step forward when a pass is going to the player which is on the same line as him, which makes him out of position. Or if other players can't go and intercept the opponent player and instead they make turn and go behind him
I have a feeling it has to do with network more than anything. I find some games are absolutely sluggish and others are really smooth. I believe if you have a lower ping than your opponent, your AI is going to have that slight delay and will never intercept a pass.
I just hope week 2 objectives are better. Idk if it’s just me, but the objectives give me purpose to grind the offline. When they do stupid shit objectives like they did this past week I just don’t play the game very much

Yeah im getting the same amount of excessive ridiculous penalties, absolutely ruins gameplay. Do the devs even watch hockey, you have to literally assault somebody to get a penalty. In this game if you look at somebody wrong its a 5 minute major.
I would love another video interviewing Mike. I need to know why they want the meta of gliding around holding forehand or backhand. Bouncing off people if you go to check them. Etc. etc
Dude you cant compare your progress with the youtube guys many of them play this game as a job putting in crazy amounts of time, most players arent playing 8 hours a day. I think ea foolishly gauges what they do to what youtube celebs accomplish, then they wonder why thier playerbase is obliterated by christmas. The free to play thing is a cool idea, but its decieving when the free to play person is putting in 8 hrs a day because 99% of the playerbase isnt putting in anywhere near that much time. Rewards are too low for the average player in this game. And im not complaining for myself, im an ea sugar daddy so im getting everything i want, but for people who dont have the cash, the rewards need to be better because the more players this game holds on to the better it is for everybody.

I’ve always just pressed A on the back door if the other person is always forcing it they seem to not even look before they pass and I already tie them up 😂
The patch is really fuqed up. My goalie cant save anything for shit.. And my shots are automatic goals now from literally like anywhere 😂😂 Its like being a leaf or oiler... ur just trying to outscore ur opponent.😮 Penalties are also BRUTAL... not for the AI ... but for your own controlled player.... i almost had a constant penalty kill 3 games in a row yesterday.. however !!! The Pressure systsm now (imho) is on point... its perfect with the energy level and zone clear (2 secs) its way more fast paced and less raging... So i think they just need to improve goalie save % in general for all goalies OR reduce that shot percentage ... shits wild atm. Dont do both...
I feel bad for the Creators. The game is half the game ‘23 version was and opinion was that it was the worst of the NHL Series. This is ‘24 is beyond the shittiest hockey I’ve played since Intellivision NHL Hockey back in 1983
This game sucks. I keep trying to like it, but i can't. It's impossible to just have fun when it feels like your controller doesn't respond. There's a huge delay. Even hardwired with 10 ping. I've even bought a new controller, and the same thing. The delayed game play is miserable, man. It's literally whoever has the lower ping wins. It's just worse now after the patch.
