Before I say anything I'll clarify that I've been playing video games my entire life. Started playing old Prince of Persia games to now finishing Cyberpunk the other day, so no one writes me off as gawar. I disagree with you, we shouldn't gatekeep the concept of gaming by who plays which game or how many games. It's a growing industry, if we start gatekeeping people then there will never be any progress, you cannot improve things by demonizing one group of people because they don't play enough games. Also at the end of the day for 90% of people, gaming is just a hobby and it's not that deep. You might be a RU-vidr who makes money off of it but for most people it's not that big of a deal.

me playing pc games since my childhood, was born on 2005, I have been playing games for over 12 years. I have played everything from GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, Call of duty modern warfare 1-3, Team Fortress 2, Valorant, Fortnite, Rocket League, Evil west(really good game, you guys should play it), Fall guys, God of war(on friend's playstation), Uncharted Lost Legacy (which, that game is in an Indian settings of the people speaking in Tamil), Spider-man, Watch dog games, Cyberpunk 2077, I could go on and on... . Games that are story-based gives me a sense of satisfaction after finishing, these games teach me morals. Now, I recently bought a gaming pc with r5 5600x and an RTX 3060 to both do my Engineering work(Believe me or not, I study Engineering cuz I like Mathematics and I have developed games in the past). About the thing, PUBG Mobile, ahh man, the memories, me and my friends used to go to a playground and get a group together to play this game, This was during the March and May period of time in 2018(This was before the explosion of the popularity of the game and I am happy that I downloaded this game the day it got released), after May, I felt like This game is boring and had to move on to something else. But these players don't move on to other games as they simply don't know what is it like being a gamer
