It's a false god, mechanical, man made, based on demiurge which is exactly what this is. It's not an actual god but a perception of "God" given form by the human cognition and we should know just how wrong human perception tends to be.

Damon/The Opinionator has a lot of rants/tirades like this one not just in their P5 playthrough but other games as well, most common I've seen them is Persona 5 and Danganronpa 1 and 2, but yeah these happen quite a bit and they get pretty heated but damned if that passion doesn't show through them. I enjoy watching their playthroughs lots of pretty intelligent insight from them.

Well, I'm pretty sure The Demiurge is a false VERSION of God pretending to be him, and was created by another entity. I don't think it's actually representative of God himself. Which, ironically, is perfectly fitting for Yaldabaoth as a character in P5.

I absolutely love Yaldabaoth as a villain. He’s incredibly intimidating straight from his introduction in the Prison, the reveal that he’s been Igor the entire time blew my mind the first time I experienced it, his reasons are so hypocritical and condescending, but he holds all the cards until the public turns against him, and David Lodge did an amazing job voicing him to top it all off.

By pure coincidence, I finally beat this game a couple weeks ago... I happened to play this last stretch on Christmas eve. By the time I finished it was early Christmas morning. It was a nice touch.

Bugs me that they never address in universe why they stick to the four person group during boss fights in general, but especially here at the final one. In universe one for general Palace exploration makes some sense, it is hard to remain sneaky when you're all together, but once you've materialized the Treasure in general or something like this further sneaking is out the window. Real world reason is likely balancing or engine limitations or something, just bugs me that they gave a semi plausible reason for one but didn't do anything for when that explanation breaks down

How about hurrying up to finishing the game then? You can always avoid what you don't want to see. I haven't watched any of the newest animes that came out and I have them bookmarked, but Facebook and RU-vid keep spoiling everything and I never complained.
