Futaba seems to be a superhuman even in the real world. As she runs away from Makoto, she goes to what I can presume is 80km/h instantly... She's basically the flash.
Hard to believe that Akechi’s VA was the same VA who voiced SwaySway from frickin Breadwinners Ffs they both even laugh similarly (only when SwaySway gets mad or insane)
I'm surprised how quickly I picked up on the plan. I'm usually slow at this stuff, but I remembered instantly that everything outside of Sae's palace is the same as in real life, and that they must have sent Akechi into her palace without him knowing, all while Ren was safe in the interrogation room. The group's clothes didn't change while they were investigating the room in the metaverse, because Sae only cares about what goes on in the courthouse, so they weren't seen as a threat outside.
Ngl when I first heard his voicelines for the All-Out-Attack, I already knew he was up to something. They were just... Off, if I can put it that way. It really adds to the foreshadowing.
I really don't understand why the game was acting like this was a big reveal. It was made abundantly clear waaaaaay before this that Akechi was the one behind all the mental shutdowns. Ergo, he must be the one in the black mask, even if we haven't seen him wear one up to this point. Their clothes in the metaverse are based on cognition. I guess they just never, completely, 100% explicitly said it was him before this? Though I'm sure they did.
Makoto is by far the coolest "metaverse" character in the series, not only as a female, but among all characters. But talking about the female designs, I think Haru comes second, her design is just so cool, the Victorian era, sadism, etc.. such a crazy combination of themes that just works
