This is why I recommend for people to play DK64 Randomizer since it gives you features you can enable to fix a lot of those issues, like being able to swap without the tag barrels, being able to pick up items for other Kongs (except bananas), etc.
I’m SO happy to hear someone likes Balan Wonderworld! I watched a bunch of videos about people ragging on it (and yeah, reasonably so lol) but I still want to play it! It’s like having a favorite movie that you know is trash, but dang it, it’s fun!
I like finding a good small youtuber like myself. I think my game under this category is star wars the force unleashed 2. While the first one is far far better I still enjoy the second game a lot despite how much hate it got. Congrats on being a father

I feel like DK64 was very unjustly maligned. Like, it's not a perfect game, sure, and it came out at a time people were already burning out on collectibles games. Sure, they went overboard with the sheer amount of shit you could collect, but all of these types of games kept escalating to outdo each other so this was only natural. Anyway, in spite of that, it was such a stellar game in so many ways. Plus the different kong mechanics were cool enough that they made it into Smash. Oh and I loved that you could play some old arcade games in it.
DK64 has been my favorite game since as long as I can remember. By no means is it perfect *cough* Beaver Bother *cough* but I still get tons of enjoyment each time I go back and play it. Same could be said for Banjo-Tooie as well, which many say is a much worse game than Kazooie but I disagree. I don’t mind tons of collectibles. Makes progress feel all that more satisfying.
Stumbled onto this video got a real chuckle at the end there re loving your kids despite flaws I think there is some truth there though in that I am willing to look past some games flaws these days bc my free time is limited and I want to have fun certain issues be damned
So far everybody is healthy. Wife is doing great. Kid is also good, but they're doing more test on him (jaundice, weight, hearing etc) since he came a month. But he's passing everything so far. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I loved collecting everything and I still do to this day. I love coming back every year or 2 to complete dk64 because i love collecting everything. Thats why I usually 100 percent games like fallout 3,4 and elder scrolls lol
