If the Demon Hunter had Altruis in hand already, I would agree with you since they would be getting resources ready for a big Altruis turn. They drew Altruis with Skull, though, so I think that getting the Antaen out a turn earlier would have been a better play on average - they just got lucky with the Skull draws.

Pretty sure the demonhunter coining skull over antean was, in fact, the right play or at least equally valid. Getting the outcast on skull is critical and due to skull being on the right side of the hand it was potentially the only opportunity to trigger the outcast in the foreseeable future.

Literally every time I see Demon Hunter win it's because of Altruis, and it was already nerfed. That card is way too insane in a class that has so many good low cost cards.

23:58 given board doesn't matter anymore, should have played around opponent getting random free burn damage off of reno. Hero powering to 10 cards in hand means the candle gets burned and doesn't draw which avoids fatigue damage. Opponent had lethal if reno pyroblasted your face. Could also have had other lethal outs depending on his hand although it was pretty unlikely.

AT 22:57, the mage randomly hits Trump's frozen Reliquary Prime, healing him for 6. If he hadn't, trump would've been at 15 before the second pyroblast, meaning he'd be at 5 when he took his fatigue hit for -4, meaning the mage would've been one off even if he hadn't randomly attacked.

I mean there is little RNG in demon hunter for the most part outside of draw order, and that deck is like half of ladder so at least half of games are just the best aggro deck in years instead.

@@abhishekmalhotra1831 Due to how Outcast works, Demon Hunter benefits more from top decking than any other class. Skull of Guldan is ran in every Demon Hunter and draws 3 random cards with a potential discount of 9 mana. The cards that you draw and that get that discount are RNG and have a major influence. While draw order RNG is present in every class, Demon Hunter takes it to an extreme. They also have cards like Priestess which is RNG on what targets get hit and the 6 mana demon that sends out 10 random hits.

Whenever you play a hero card, you become that card's original class. So any discover effects, and things like Tess on thief Rogue play the cards from Rogue, for example, which is idiotic if you ask me, since it usually means you can't play hero cards on Thief tess rogue unless you wanna just go for plain value with all the clever disguises and pickpockets. But mostly you'll just lose because Tess is a "swing the board" type of card.

if the mage had not hit the frozen reliquary prime when he frost nova-doomsayered he would have put trump to 1 instead of 7. there's probably a way to go through the game as a whole and see him being able to squeeze out an extra damage there.

If the guy at the end of the first game hadn't needlessly attacked with the Kalecgos into Reliquary Prime (lifesteal), they actually would've gotten Trump down to 1 health after fatigue. Bit of a misplay, they were really close to winning despite how it looked.

Good altruis nerf. That's what I kept saying to myself as I lost to a 7 damage altruis yesterday. The +1 attack that makes it immune to SW:P is probably more relevant, and no one even runs that card. Why even bother changing it if you're not going to actually nerf it yet? Also when's the priestess of fury nerf coming? That cards so dumb. So because the deck won it's unbalanced? Aggro decks have always beaten slower control decks, and Trump didn't have the best draws. It has a disgusting amount of burst which makes it unfun to play against, but not necessarily unbalanced.

Every class is broken if we use your guys 'logic' then. Mage can turn the table and win no brainer with boxes, rogue can spam infinite secrets, priests have infinite value/taunts and all aggro decks can kill ultra fast. Not to mention all discover the perfect answer cards while having a good body that every control deck gets those days. If Altruis didn't exist DH wouldn't even be played competitively. The point is: Every class have something broken on purpose and that's how power creep is those days and that will probably never change, so yeah, it's kinda a 'balanced' meta. If you want to beat DH, tech against it. Don't be a stupid kid that keep crying to Blizzard because you keep losing to DH and failed to adapt. I have like 13-2 with my warrior against them and unless I'm a genious, I believe anyone could do that too. And don't come crying also that 'b... b... but my winrate will drop versus other classes!', what did you expect, duh? A deck that could beat all classes? Lol.
