yo you should try turning your brightness down really low for Wuthering Waves. Makes the game look a lot better since the brightness slider is actually a gamma slider not just brightness. On high brightness, the game looks a lot more washed out. Loved the video btw! Really well said. I've also been absolutely loving wuwa
While I do like spending a lot of time on the games, I understand there are people who dont have that time. What I really like about wuwa that it lets me play the amount of time I want to. If I want to, I can grind echoes for 24 hours straight and if I dont I just hop on do dailies in 5 min, thrown in 4 tacet fields into the mix to spend my stamina which takes maybe 10 mins and I'm done. Which in the contrary to your situation, I absolutely dislike games that limit my play time per day, such as hoyo games and force me to spend only 10-15min max per day leaving me wanting more. I'm actually very satisfied with Wuwa gameplay loop, now I just wish there was a bit more different things to do aside farming echoes for stats, such as shiny echoes being rare or more content in Illusive Realm or maybe some other interesting events but Im quite patient and I can wait a little.
I appreciate this take. I feel it's always a little tough to get a balance of what's enough for developers because you have a wide range of people who can grind it out in a week, or people like me who move like a snail lol. I agree that wuwa has done a great job balancing the two the best it can compared to other games I have and do play. It's nice to hear as my first gache game. I landed on one that is living up to expectations and that balance
Great to see another WuWa enjoyer. Genshin was my first gacha and I completely understand how you are feeling. I was avoiding the gacha trend like the plague before Genshin but these games are like normal console style open-world games now with the gacha stuff sprinkled on top. Genshin changed the modern gacha system (for better or worse) but hey we have now free games with serious amount of polish and high level mechanics and rewarding open worlds now. Also you might like Zenless Zone Zero too (it just came out yesterday) from Genshin's developer Mihoyo. I had my doubts but the combat is so heavy and impactful it's very satisfying. Very grounded compared to Genshin and WuWa but very entertaining. You might wanna take a look since it's free. I recently discovered your channel and I like the way you are conveying your opinions. I really appreciate the kind words about the content. And I'm glad to know others like me was skeptical of the gache genre but I'm glad I'm here now! I'll definitely try out Zenless and see what that is about too
@sandwich4916 ZZZ combat is downright awful, it's super stripped down, no jump, no aerial combos, no elemental reactions, no parry, dodge barely matters because enemies barely attack, you can literally finish a fight by just pressing LMB with your eyes closed, that's not an exaggeration. the game has nothing else to offer aside from stylish aesthetics and fancy animations, it's basically an inferior version of Honkai Impact 3rd and Punishing Gray Raven in the gameplay aspect and people seem to forget that GAMES should have GAMEPLAY, games aren't supposed to be just all eye candy and flashy animations, even Genshin combat is vastly superior, not to mention Wuwa. I'm not even talking about other aspects of the game since the Developers touted the game as a Combat Oriented Gacha game yet it fails in that very aspect, so what else does it have aside from graphics? the story? the god awful TV mini-games? Genshin and Wuwa has open-world exploration, puzzles, story, so even IF the combat is mediocre, there's still some aspects left to enjoy, in ZZZ there's nothing left aside from looking pretty and having pretty lights with your attacks. @jaytimetalkgames if you wanna try a gacha similar to Wuwa, try Genshin, it's an older game but it's very similar and more casual.
In 1.1, they even made the dailies far easier to do. I literally just need less than 10 mins if I'm just gonna do the dailies. I also love that WuWa gives you the option to spend a few minutes to consume your waveplates or grind it like an MMO with the echo system. The way I play it is, clear the content if it's available, then just do my dailies while waiting for another patch after exhausting everything. Move to another game for a while. Then come back if there's new content. Thing is, you really need to choose which gacha game you have to invest in cause all of them incentivise players to log-in everyday to do dailies and consume stamina. I can't handle more than 3. 😂

I think as you progress daily will take less time for me it’s mostly 5 min also I would recommend reducing the brightness in the settings to zero the game will look much better in my opinion
Games shouldn't care about your time. You should care about your time. Gaming is a fun hobby, I do it. But iam not delusional and know it's a waste of time.
Bruh you must be pretty good at the game if your main is Danjin. Is the high risk high reward aspect of her that you like? (where you are constantly in low health to get big damage) Or just her overall aesthetic? Cause I freaking love her, she's so cute I want to main her but Jesus Christ I have a massive skill issue (╥﹏╥)
I really like her playstyle and character design. She forces me to slow down and watch the boss because just throwing out abilities with her you'll die before you realize it lol she helped me learn the game alot
From what I've heard, the reason gacha games tend to make their dailies to be done quickly is so that the Chinese audience can still properly play the game (since I don't think most people would spend money on a game they can't enjoy), though I think Wuthering Waves' dailies feel like a proper game session which isn't true for all gacha games (especially the ones where the dailies are extremely repetitive)
My Truth I Have 18 Acc Do Daily For 8acc Is just takes 1hour so Managing 18 Acc is pretty easy to do but i guaranteed to have each character in the future patch, i just don't want miss every character in this game Free tic ssr from kuro is very helpful, i just pick verina to every acc created & build mc rover is that just enough + guaranted beginner banner 50pull easy to reach bcs kuro give so many free pull in early game
Wuwa and Honkai: Star Rail dailies dan battle pass just complete themselves, it doesn't even felt like dailies. Perhaps you can try HSR too, it's very different from Wuwa in story and gameplay, it will definitely be something fresh, yet both have amazing QoL features.
