These actually look pretty good as far as assembly. I've found a lot of the GW kits lately are too fiddly with some of the pieces they are in but these look like the perfect mix and aren't so "Part 43 only goes with part 42" Really making this higher on my list of a new army, despite them being a bit FOTM right now.
Hear hear. That's been my main frustration with GW models these past years. I have played since 1995 so remember when you had less detail (which to be honest I find a lot of the figures now have too much detail on basic guys) but you could pretty much lay all the parts out and assemble each model slightly different.
Love these minis. Just hate that the left arm is attached to the shield because I want to convert these for a sci-fi skirmish game. Hard to put guns on them like that. Wanted them to be terminator like robots but I guess I could mix and match Necrons with them.
I'm liking them too. They're just that- basic. Not overloaded with flashy details. There's a bit of wiggle room with posing that can get you a rank and file unit or a more dynamic set of skirmishers.
That shouldn't be a problem! There's more heads on the sprue than you'll actually use, and with them packaged in boxes of 20, hitting up bits sellers or local players should totally net you a fair amount.
I'm pretty sure I used GW's wraithbone primer or something similarly named. Used it all up, otherwise I'd check and let you know, but pretty sure that's the one.
