I'm glad you made this video. One time, in paint camp I accidentally washed AFTER layering and the whole camp exploded, killing everyone in a 2 mile radius. Luckily I was using my trusty GW water pot and was able to use it to shield myself from the blast. I survived, but I learned a valuable lesson.

This video made me chuckle a lot. To answer the question you asked though, the curseling is the demon on the body. The original old world lore for him is that he was a disabled crippled grotesque twin brother who had basically no physical ability whatsoever or any magical powers while his brother became a hard as nails chad chaos champion who used to beat his brother up for being weak. The curseling prayed to tzeench every night to swap them, and make his brother the slave instead of him, and Tzeench basically did tbe genie thing of taking him 100% literally and fused their bodies together, and let Vilitch control both of them. The human part of Vilitch is now a mindless drooling corpse he puppets about, and Tzeench gave him some sick magic skills while he was on fucking up his entire life.

Ive been painting for almost 10 years now and still learned a thing or two from this. Never knew to paint away from recesses or dabbing the brush when edge highlighting for better control. "Away painting" specifically was always hounded in the metal days because it would easily paint over a detail or gather at the edges and fill. "This is funny, by the way. I get it." Hahhaa, solid video! On a sidenote I recently bought my first AK paints, and immediately was blown away. Went out and bought more right away. Likely won't buy citadel layers or bases again, which for me is a pretty big deal. Citadel is the last way in which I financial support GW. Or I mean... was.

Destruction Level 100 What a coincidence! I accidentally found the exact paint bottles here in Germany. Seems someone spilled these all over the globe! Great vid btw. And why the hell doesn't GW sell wet palettes yet? Or rebranded airbrushs? I'm pretty sure that these would sell like their other overpriced bs...like GW brushes. Some of them are double the price of Winsor&Newton/Artist Opus/Raphael/etc equivalent...like...the fuck? Or the miniature priming holder.^^

As a moron who once put in an insane amount of time blending the hell out of the visor on an Eldar grav tank’s pilot, just to glue the canopy shut and sell the completed model to a bigger moron on Ebay for three times the MSRP at the time, I have been rolling my eyes at GW’s painting advice for years and deeply appreciate this hilarious take on it.

I found a pile of paints from ~20 years ago in my storage. The GW ones, of course, were rock hard (probably within a couple months) in their pots. The Vallejo paints in their bottles were still liquid. Not that I would trust a paint after that long, but it definitely illustrates the difference!
