Never Die. Never Run Out of Ammo. Reach Hidden Levels. Never, Ever Lose! Today we’re going to be taking a look at the GameShark Pro video game enhancer for the Nintendo 64 by Interact accessories.
I had a n64 gameshark. I remember only using it as last resort if a game kept being cheap and handing me my ass with little effort, I popped that gameshark in and was gonna teach the game who could be cheap.
Can the Game Shark help you skip levels? is be cause wend I play N64 sometimes it freezes and wend it dose that sometimes for some reason it erases the progress that I make in gameplay
Just a minor correction; The GameShark you own in box is actually the last revision of the device before being entirely discontinued. The one in box is Version 3.3.
The Ownage Freqhog Yep. That packaging was shared amongst the PlayStation when that reached Version 4. The Dreamcast would even adopt it with the Gameshark Lite, and it also was seen for Gamesharks for the PlayStation 2, XBOX, and Game Boy Colour and Advance.
Yes, the one you showed in box is the April 2000 Version. It's version 3.3 with parallel port but the chips for parallel port were removed on the latest version to reduce costs. You can also compare the gameshark logo on the box and the logo on your version 3.2. The one on the box is the same logo Mad Catz used for marketing the gameshark products from 2001-2006/2007 iirc. And the logo on your version 3.2 (My profile picture) Is the logo InterAct used for marketing the gameshark.
Loved the game genie and game shark, I used to have to rent games and usually only had Friday and the weekend to play, if it hadn't been for those devices, i wouldn't have got to play and fully enjoy everything about it and in some cases, more than you was supposed to, while i would've rather owned the games and did it all on my own, but just for the crazy extra stuff you couldn't achieve or get in any way possible other than the game genie/shark, I would've definitely still owned them!
I used my moms old Windows XP machine to update my game shark. But I had to run compatibility mode for the game shark software. I upgraded from 3.2 to 3.3. I felt so cool in 2011 lol
The codes can be typed with the on screen keyboard or by connecting to your computer with the 25-pin and using a keyboard. They will be saved on the flash memory of the device so you won't have to type it each time.
You should put in another game, select the Zelda keycode, power off and then insert Zelda. Zelda requires a keycode in order to boot with the GameShark.
@@bobbybudnick7181 Yes it always needs to intercept the game in order for the codes to work. Though some codes can be activated and can be retained after you save the game. If you used an unlock level code and saved the game, the level would be unlocked when you load the save later.
@@bobbybudnick7181 Always has to be connected, unless it’s something that can be saved to game cart memory or a controller pack, and then loaded later.
Could I use part of your video in a review? Or would you record some clips for me if possible and Ill leave a link to your channel and videos and give a shout out?
@@Freqhog heh heh funny that!! Weird question would ya happen to have any social media? Idk....ya a nice guy and I think ya would be a sweet friend hehe!!!
Too bad the Nintendo 64 looks horrible on modern HDTV's. Nowadays I usually play my favorite N64 games like Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 64 on my backwards compatible Wii. That way I can use my awesome GameCube controller.
+Freqhog Whatever. If you call rocking 480i amazing then keep on. I prefer the progressive scan image that the Wii puts out to the original N64's low-res image.
It messes up your systems after a while. I used to have this Game shark pro along with the Game Genie and messed up my systems so bad that I needed them just play my games on the N64 my friend and I were playing Toy Story 2 and Buzz just floated into the roof of the building and wouldn't come back down we had to restart the system but w/out the Game shark pro. Don't buy it people it sucks!
