"Measure what can be measured, and make measurable what extends beyond" is fairly valid English, even if it sounds weird. It's a play on Galileo's aphorism: "Measure what can be measured, and make measurable what cannot be." The descriptor for the "what" (a category of things) one should make measurable is in this case, "things that extend beyond" as opposed to "things that cannot be measured." The only weird bit grammatically is: extends beyond what? Though in modern English, "beyond" also refers to a great unknown, (though typically life after death, it can be used generally for any great unknown to be explored, including in realms of knowledge and terrestrial exploration).
gamesir is on the right path to creating the definitive telescopic gamepad, and thanks to the g8, I believe that other companies will have to do their best to catch up to gamesir in this regard. I hope flydigi pays attention to telescopic types, it would be incredible
Good review 👍🏻 Many pros with almost no cons Fast charging is not supported for all phones unfortunately And it's not as fast as plugging directly to the charger but not bad Ask them to send the new X2 S it has hall effect joysticks and triggers and it's half the price of this one
9:14 What Hair Trigger does is that it registers any depress at any % of trigger pressure as complete depress. So if you press the trigger all the the way down, even if you release it just a tiny bit, it will "unpress" the input and let you press the trigger again without having to release it all the way back. Hair trigger is a very neat feature for any mapping software that works with analog triggers. Btw, that's a interesting telescopic ganepad. I have been looking into one of these and this one looks like something to consider
Your review video is very comprehensive, covers almost everything i needed to know. Now, just one last thing, how is the latency? Does the controller connects to the phone via USB-C port or via bluetooth? I have tried many controllers pairing with phones using bluetooth, the latency is not very satisfying when playing action games to be honest. flydigi apex 4 is very very responsive when im playing on PC connecting through dongle / wired connection. but not so much when i need to pair it with android via bluetooth, which is a slight disappointment because its not as snappy as it is when im playing on PC.
Yes, It's totally right, this is the best mobile telescopic gamepad on the market now! But beware mine has an issue now , after 2 months of usage USB -C port is a bit loose (broken), still working, but not with the phone case on.Im waiting now for replacement from the Gamesir store.
Thanks for the tear down! I've been using the game Sir G8 for a little bit now and definitely agree that is the best telescoping mobile controller out there.
It is interesting to see how you disassemble the galileo g8+ and compare it with this controller. Where are the bluetooth power supplies and where are the vibration motors soldered
someone says its not compatible with latest iPhone ios? and yes, many games dont work well? do i need a mapping app first and map every game? feels so nice, this device, but so many games dont really work on my iphone 15
you might add one con at the end of the video the passthrough charge is not supported on every phone: some phone can fast charge, some slow/normal charge, and some don't charge at all
