Thank you for being thorough. My Main concern for this controller by GameSir, was that it is wireless and their app which needs the use of Developer mode's debugging. Pubg Mobile might be fine with it , but New State ( a more mobile friendlier PUBG Mobile) , will not open when Developer mode's debugging is active. GameSir needs to fix their app before I can consider this controller.
Yeah I know Fortnite doesn't like it if you try and start the game with Developer Options enabled. There are other controllers you could use which don't require Developer Options (such as the G8 or X3S) but they could also end up being detected by the game and causing a problem for you/your account.
I have this controller and you don't need the developer options for it to be used as a standard Bluetooth controller. The developer options are used only for the v-touch feature which is specific for games that don't support a controller at all and forces the phone to think you are using the on screen controls while using the controller instead of touch.
I do the mapping configuration, but when i clic in start the game. The game not open automatically, and when i open the game from the cellphone, not appears the small red configuration button in the screen. Why? Is some permission? Help me pls
@AndroidAddicts I have just started testing this device but I don't understand how you attached the radial D-pad to the device. Unlike the default D-pad there doesn't seem to be any connecter on the bottom to attach to the X4. Am I missing something here? Unfortunately your video cuts out right before you attach it so I wasn't able to see how you did it. Please advise.
Hi there - there are 4 little 'pegs' that push down into the d-pad piece so you should be able to just press it down firmly to attach it. Sorry the video cut off - it was hard to film it actually going on!
@@AndroidAddicts So do you mean to say that the Radial Pad snaps onto the D-pad attachment, rather than swapping one for the other on the controller? If so, I have no idea why I didn't think of that. Not being said, I wish that GameSir had actually included proper instructions as to how to attach it. Thanks for getting back to me.
When you play on Game Pass you can see as if there is a delay when performing an action, is this like that in real life? Did you notice a delay? or is it imperceptible
Yes completely safe 👍 Other apps use this method of connecting for on-screen key mapping (the Mantis Gamepad Pro app for example). It's safe to do (because you're just on your local WiFi network) and also un-detectable by the game 😎👍
Yes you sure can. As long as the game has controller support you'll have no problem. If it doesn't have controller support you can use something called Mantis Gamepad to map the controls for you 👍
@@asfbobelu can play any games including emulators, with mappers, it has 2 settings, 1 for manual mappers, & another 1 are default, means you can navigate your android with button controllers.
@@AndroidAddicts thanks for the reply. Been debating between this and the turtle beach atom since the principle is the same. But gonna get this since D-pad is micro switch. So I'm going to get this. Looks cool and the 2 halves look slim enough and don't add extra bulk to your phone, which is good if you have big brick phone
Yes you can get it to work - you can increase the size of the left analogue on-screen and then adjust the slider for the run in the COD Mobile settings so it's a bit lower 👍
@@AndroidAddicts you dont have to use the Xbox controller, the game just needs to detect it, then you can use any controller previously didnt work with Call of Duty, ie, third party controllers
With a small enough case it will - it did work with my slightly thick case but it didn't feel stable. You'd be OK with a slimline gel/jelly/silicone case
Hi there, I've just tried it with the MediaTek MT8788 and Virtual Mapping does work when you activate it via the Gamesir app. I couldn't get Wireless Debugging activation to work on the phone I was using but it worked with the PC activation nice and easy.
Think the same thing too before i Bought the game sir x2 pro, the experience using it long term is great compare to the cheap controller , imo the buttons feels way better like a proper console controller
@@political-duck2533 that's still crazy I ain't paying over 30 idc how good or high quality it is it's still for phones that alone should make it worth less than 30
@@hidinginabush I'm a bit skeptical since the rog6 cooler is wider than the 7's. I wouldn't be having this predicament if Asus didn't F-ed up their software updates for the kunai. Since the last update in 2021, the right kunai has been dead. Only the left works on usb mode, bluetooth is dead for both. Jeez
@@malbriusgamesir x3 aren't x4, your really wrong, the x3 fan cooler are used separated cable, means u can't using outside your house without plugging it! X3 are the worst compared to the rest gamesir, the coolers are like gimmick.
G8 are consume more battery due to dac inside the audio jack. X4 are all rounded, u can put any coolers behind it, means u can save your phone for longer period or ur phone screen from burn in or greenline, also it has tactile button, and its more flexible, u can put in on table or your bed and u can play while sleep on your bed without holding your heavy phones.
