I picked this up as well, I was disappointed that they didn't paint it like the original Warthog or the Gungoose. They really could have hit a home run with a little more paint
I’d have liked that, but I assume it comes down to cost. Extra paint on arbiter = less on the warthog. Overall though, it’s an easy fix if I want it to look more damaged!
I'm so happy to hear that everyone loves this set! The figures look amazing, as does the Puma, I can't wait to get mine! Speaking of sets, when can we expect to see your review of the 4 pack?
Yeah, I think there are a lot of H3 fans just WAITING for more figures to drop after seeing this! The Target 4-pack should be coming soon! I wanted to get this one out first. But it’s coming!
@Rustbelt Collector Honestly man I'd be happy if they just repainted the Chief and made like a Red vs Blue (as in Slayer or something, not the show, though that'd be pretty cool lmao) pack or something. The body mold for the Chief can be retooled into so many great figures from Halo, so fingers crossed!! (I'd love to see some Marines, ODST, and definitely a Recon Spartan. On second thought, my list of Halo 3 dream figs is quite large 😂) I'm guessing we'll likely see a Halo 3 Chief in the Spartan Collection pretty soon, especially since they have the mold for the body with the new Rogue Spartan coming next wave.
bruh what if jazwares/wct made those terrain stands look like pieces of the halo ring that this set is from and would be exclusive to just this set. now that we have a woh h3 arbiter, maybe well get a woh h2 arbiter. i hope jazwares/wct keeps giving us woh figures from all the games and also other forms of halo media like the books, halo legends, nightfall, forward unto dawn, fall of reach, even the new upcoming paramount+ halo series, etc
I think of the Arbiter with his Carbine because when I played Halo 3, my brother was Master Chief and I was the Arbiter. When we had finished the Campaign, I remember that I had that carbine on my back all the way to the Forward Until Dawn.
Looks fantastic, I am excited because the original warthog was the first thing I bought in this line. I hope they do a lot more 20th anniversary stuff, Johnson, noble team, red team and more.
@@NoahR_ really I haven't seen that but I really want noble six because Reach was my first Halo game and given that Noble 6 is designed to be yourself I have a special connection to the character
I was real happy to get this the other day just as you this was my most anticipated set to get that I have bought so far as it reminds me of playing halo 3 with my brother he always was player one or (master chief) and the driver I was always arbiter and the gunner so its a cool set all around and holds a memory for me... i hope to see more old figures being released for the world of halo line still have yet to snag the 4 pack of ce chief/grunt with the infinite chief and grunt really hoping to pick that up one day.
Your not missing much from the Mattel Chief. I have almost all the Halo figures from each company and Mattel was the worst IMO. Man the Joyride brings back so many memories of me and my dad hitting every Suncost looking for Cortana. I love the old Joyride and Mcfarlane line the most, but Jazware is getting close if they could just fix the knee joints and stop with the lime green on the newer Chiefs.
I figured Mattel was bad, but I’d still like to find one just for comparison. It is quite interesting to have a line like Halo, where it’s been handled by so many companies and each one has its pros and cons!
Bro I ordered mine today and hopefully it comes in on Saturday or Monday! This is why I like ordering stuff that doesn’t come over seas! If it’s in my region it takes like a day or two.
To be honest this is probably the best set I have seen because I have all ways loved halo 3 campaign and game but this set is a kinda hard to find but great view but if they made ce marines they will print money.
How did you get the turret on? I use all my force and I still can't get the turret onto that ball joint. I even tried applying ice to shrink the ball joint a bit.
Could be a couple things: I tried forcing mine, but realized it’s actually a pretty loose fitting rubber socket. I thought I had to force it till it *clicked*, but the turret just rests in that socket. If it’s really not sitting correctly, try heating the base of the turret in hot water. It’s softer plastic so that should make it easier to fit onto the base! I hope that helps!
Thanks for the review. The 20th Anniversary version looks like an EV. Which is probably what it should be seeing that it’s super future tech. I mean, why does it run on gas and why does it need jerry cans?! I still like the first version too. I’ll definitely get this one too.
Give it a few weeks and pre orders may be available in a store near you. I found a master chief set of mark v and 6 in store afew weeks after website release
@@RustbeltCollector There was a comic that came out right before the release of Halo 3 where it shows Chief get hit by the jackal sniper. He was fighting his way off the key ship when he got hit. Edit: If you want to know more I'd suggest trying to find the comic, it's a fun read.
MAAAN, AMAZING REVIEW! im really really hoping we get atleast, the arbiter in 1/12th scale. Might even expand the spartan collection to have some elites. Need me some elites Edit: IDK if i remember it correctly, but the gash on his armor was caused by guilty spark when he shot him in the control room
@@unbeknowndog3182 good luck! If a figure it’s cold it can make the plastic hard to move and more likely to break. I’m always cautious when I get a package during the winter months!
In lore, probably. But Halo 3, Chief and Arbiter have the same size character model so the camera and animations wouldn't have issues. So it's actually pretty spot on for that!
