its an overreaction for sure but trespassing on private property is a crime. if a private company or person wants someone off their property and someone refuses that's trespassing.
GS employees are usually artistic, if you know what I mean, and were bullied growing up. So their store is where they get to get back and finally be in control.
Lmao imagine calling the cops over a joke too. Like obviously they're happy to answer they'll buy your console but the moment it's suspected you're making tiktoks you're scum, you are the stain of many criminals and the authorities shall deliver unto you justice in the form of a GameStop shaped phallus for all of history. Take off every zig, do not pass go
These 911 Operators need to start telling people “We understand your concern but it’s not considered and emergency if or when we can we will send an officer”
You handled the cops pretty well by not deleting that footage! Good stuff Brennan lol let them press charges lol their stocks are pretty high right now haha
GAMESTOP INTERVIEWER: Ok, your resume looks good. One last question. When was the last time you laughed? CANDIDATE: Today. INTERVIEWER: Sorry we're gonna have to pass.
Though I hate Gamestop, being lame AF is not a requirement to work there. My store (both of them) were so chill. Why are these people so insuferable? If he came in with this nonsense I would die!
If I were a cop, I’d rather be called to the most dangerous project in town than dealing with the sweaty GameStop employee who can’t handle a prank. At least the former would make for a good story.
It’s hilarious the people who say I’ll call the cops are the same people screaming to defund them. GameStops gotta realize that this makes them look shallow. People don’t want to give them $ when their employees act like this.
I hate how they don't even entertain the idea of purchasing two consoles taped together. Why cant they just laugh and be like, "I can't purchase it as is, but if you take the duct tape off and detach them, I will see what I can do". Humor the guy a little, my god...
Seriously. Even if they dont really want to deal with the prank, all they need to do is tell him they cant buy it and not give any reaction, and he’ll leave quickly when he doesnt get a reaction out of them. Having an extreme negative overreaction, is just giving him even more content than if they played along and gave a positive reaction.
Imagine if the GameStop employees had fun with it. Maybe a partnership with Brenden would actually bring people back and save them from shutting everything down. Too late now!
GameStop likely sent a email notifying all stores in area about prank and typically response is to kick that person out, or call police. Reason why response is similar when he goes to next store.
I stop going to GameStop after they offered me 17 dollars for a brand new copy of gta 5 that was still in the package 😂 and this is when the game just game out on ps3 i got a second copy that came with my ps3 when i brought a new one. I Laughed in their face and said your going buy it from me for 17 dollars then put it right on the shelf and sell it for 50 dollars the moment i walk out the door. I told them for that price ill just give it away for free which i did 😂
Random dude later that day: “I’m gonna try and sell this old console it’s held together by tape but I’m sure they’ll still take it” *Has cops called on him and is permanently banned from the premises*
I wouldn't be too sure if they watch his stuff but when i was ban from GameStop i was told they had a picture of me that they pass around to other gamestop to watch out for me
There has to be some type of scientific explanation for workers use "I" and "my" when speaking on behalf of the store. "I can't take this." "My store" etc. I wonder what the hiring process is at gamestop and I wonder if they genuinely make the workers think its their stores. They make at most $16/h edit: it is 100% likely they have anime pictures as their social media accounts profile picture.
