Nice. I like that you included the studios that made the games. I'm interested to know what people prefer - Pit Fighter, Mortal Kombat, or Street Fighter? And why?

Yeah, I'm including developers rather than publishers now. Devs are more important. I'd personally pick Street Fighter over Mortal Kombat in the early years but the other way round now.

@@GamesByYear Interesting that. But the MK franchise has definitely aged better. The games they release now are excellent.

Definitely. I think mortal kombat has fit into the 3D fighter space a bit better.
