yo my guy if you need a steam installation that works perfectly on winxp hmu, I'll link it. can even provide proof it works no issues. It'll be a hassle to find the .zip file and upload it but im sure I can do it if you need it.

I must use hand disinfectant spray/liquid. But nowadays it will cost more than gold where i live D: Since i have Acer Ferrari 5000 with the TL-68 processor i cleaned it fully ,learned from videos. Seller just wanted to sell this laptop just for tiny pennies. (cheap)

@@UwUSanime PC games back then were cheaper. Console games were expensive as shit in the region of $60-70 (N64, PS1) PC games cost from $40-50 then you had some special cases where games cost $60. NBA 2000 and NHL 2000 were also close to $60 brand new

I love windows xp so many memories especially getting my first brand new custom pc in 2002 from a small shop. I didn't get the xp box but I got the mobo box with the xp, norton 2002, and office xp discs as well as miscellaneous parts for the case and mobo. It's a real shame now these small shops are selling prebuilt acer and HP desktops rather than building custom like they used to.

I remember Windows XP. I had it on my Dads old Samsung VM8000 Laptop that he gave me when i was like 8 years old . My parents had an Acer laptop around 2007 which had Windows vista on it, I grew up with Xp/vista and all the memories I had were amazing. I used to play an online downloadable game called "Blockland" which was an online type lego based game where you can build houses and cause mayhem with friends. Amazing video as always

Windows XP was good. Windows 7 was really good and functional. Then they Came with this Windows 8 and 8.1 crap. Windows 10 is usable i would say, IF you choose the right settings.

@@Rundumsfliegen Windows 10 on the latest update imo is better than Windows 7 (If you have a decent machine) You get access to all the xbox stuff, microsoft store, and you can even play some of your xbox games. It is quite fast too on my machine, i5-2400, GTX 1060 6GB, 10GB RAM.

Windows 2000 professional was better than XP, imho. Had all the compatibility of XP programs, but with less hardware requirements, and excess bells & whistles I never needed.

My goodness, watching you disassembling this laptop I realize why I stopped buying consumer grade laptops years ago... Such a horrible design. Those little Philips speakers are indeed remarkably good. XP was great. But going back now is showing you how massive the improvements are. Same goes for 7 by now :D. I am shocked that the logitech wheel works with Windows XP! Have you done the brake pedal mod to it? Also, I wish more laptops came with that aspect ratio nowadays. Great video as always!

Would be interested to see Windows 10 on this (drivers permitting) - and also how Halo runs. I'd love an XP gaming laptop just for playing those games which are difficult to run in Windows 10. I was going to rebuild my old Athlon 64 "TINY" desktop for this but a laptop just makes more sense as it takes up less cupboard space when not in use. Might go for a ThinkPad

I am using WIN XP at work for testing PCBs and completed assemblies. It is getting harder to get customers to create XP drivers. Some of them consider it a fun challenge to make tests profiles to run on this old platform. I still love using it and will keep using WIN XP as long as we can.

My XP computer used to use the processor from my family’s old Compaq desktop. It was an Athlon XP 2600+, it now has a 2800+ though. It still uses the same hard drive though.
