I know not all people play games on their phone but with those kind of prices those people deserve best performance chipset par with 8Gen3 or A17 not midrange performance chipset.
Two different end goals - the 8 Gen 3 sucks in AI tasks. If you somehow get it running on 8 Gen 3, you'll have a bad experience using all of these features.
@@NasiLemakTechwell, google could configure SD similar to how they did for tensor. unless you mean tensor have physically different hardware for AI functions which doesn’t depend on software.
@@kylemrf5281 a chipset is more than just the CPU and GPU. There's also the ISP - which Google wants to control themselves and not be at the mercy of whatever Qualcomm has.
Welp..the phrase "beautiful on the outside, ugly on the inside"probably fit for the current Pixel..hope Google will make big improvements in the next Pixel X..
2:51 yep, I've seen all I've needed to see, this killed any hope for me buying this phone. iPhone 16 Pro Max next month it is for me! Really wanted to get this phone but it's way too much of a risk to buy because I do play a lot of GI/ZZZ on my phone. Watching the rest of the video still cuz ur the goat :D
it's got no storage, Ikram. If it has more storage it wouldn't be stuttering and lagging nowhere near as bad. When it's got no storage, it has to keep rewriting stuff like normal but it'll be much slower than if it had extra space to push it around.
@@Ikram232I better buy a handheld device like Asus Rog Ally x or Strix Halo APU handheld that can perform rtx 4050-4070 mobile performance than an iPhone 16 for better graphics and gaming but yeah G5 will be fully customized and TSMC that will start as dedicated gaming SOC
Even my snap 870 with thermal mods runs genshin far better than this, bruh how its just capped only 30 fps on medium 60? Considering a flagship on 2024.... My custom high to highest 60 preset can run 50 fps++ on 30 minutes++ of gaming on 870🤦, dungeon easily capped 60 fps full
Almost everybody knows tensor is not as powerful as the competitor but I think it's because it's newly released so games are not optimized yet. Even samsung s23 and s24, before have a limited graphic settings on some games when they were newly released.
@@mrvakruha255 Poco F3 with thermal mod, increases the threshold at 48 max, with cooler I easily managed to get 50++ genshin for how long I want it to, doesn't throttle... Idk about pubg, but codm I can run 120 FPS no throttle too, battle royale at 90
Mr, I have lot question. 1. Does all pixel 9 series share same processor tensor g4 or g4 does have variant? 2. Does regular pixel 9 have vapor cooling chamber? Thank you for response
ngl at some point I feels like the western reviewers don't know how to properly review the phone performance, they always said the game will be run well on these phones, when it's in the same it runs like 20 to 30fps. Just watched Mrwhosetheboss testing on ZZZ with pixel 9 pro XL, and he called it ok, what a wild conclusion.

@@rajmangalpandey3910 you mean codm ? and not warzone ? yes codm is super optimised and runs 120 fps on my 5 year old flaghsip without any lag at all. this game runs perfenctly on midrage devices and runs good on low end also
Pixel fanboys should watch this before trashtalking Samsung, Note: am not defending any company but here’s to remember that no phone is perfect whether it Samsung, apple,Google pixel, one plus etc every device have its pros and cons depends on user which device they prior base upon their usuage.

Optimization doesn't seem to be a priority when a new hardware device is released by Google, but within a few months, there should be an anticipated update to fully optimize the phone.
@@NasiLemakTech Now that makes a lot more sense! You're right, like all apps being used on newer devices that have recently come out, the apps have to be updated for the hardware to be fully optimized.
You should have uninstalled a game cuz storage gets a lot slower when filled beyond 80-90%, especially this full. It could explain your stutters. Ty for the tests though, love your channel lots
@@heyitsmejm4792 Are you serious???!! They're charging equal prices for Samsung and Apple and come with such poor performance? I have no idea how Google fans can defend this company.
Dude, anyone who thinks of using their phone as a gaming phone wont ever consider pixel so I dont get the point of this video. Chinese phones with top tier specs with affordable prices are the ones targeting mobile gamers. Pixels are for camera and AI.
