'Just Tones' - No music version. Useful for intense study sessions or increasing and maintaining a high level of energy during a workout session.
Gamma brainwave activity levels are often high during periods of intense hyperfocus and high energy. This session attempts to reproduce the same type of mental state with gamma frequency isochronic tones.
► Get the MP3 version here: www.mindamend....
► Subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks:
www.youtube.com...
► If you are new to this type of audio brainwave entrainment, find out how isochronic tones work and how they compare to binaural beats here: www.mindamend.c....
The isochronic tones begin at 8Hz and move up 1Hz every 15 seconds until they reach 40Hz in the Gamma range at the 8-minute mark. The tones stay in this gamma frequency range for the remainder of the track. To help prevent habituation where you eventually get used to listening to the same frequency, between 8 minutes to 60 minutes, the tones switch between random frequencies in the 38Hz to 40Hz range.
How to use the 'Just Tones' version
Isochronic tones without music produce a stronger brainwave entrainment effect, compared to listening with music because the tones can be heard more clearly. However, listening to the tones on their own takes a bit of getting used to and it's not for everyone.
A popular way to use a just tones version is to combine it with playing other music of your choice at the same time. This allows you to have more variety and choose your own favourite soundtracks so you don't get bored.
Headphones?
Headphones are not required for this particular session. But, if you can use headphones, I always recommend it. When you use headphones it helps to block out any peripheral sound in the room, and I personally find the entrainment experience to be more powerful when using them.
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. Isochronic tones without music can sound a little intense, so if you are listening without any other soundtrack I'd advise having the volume a little lower than normal. You don't need a 'just tones' track like this to be really loud for it to be effective.

@@MindAmend Thank you! Do I have to listen for 30 days to have more gamma waves in the brain?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 4 года назад
@@alefhenrrique6892 This type of audio stimulation works while you are listening to it and the effects can linger for a short while afterwards. The brain is constantly changing and has the ability to make new neural connections throughout your life. This is referred to as neuroplasticity. It essentially means that you can't do something for 30 days and expect a permanent change or improvement. So if you listened for 30 days you may keep producing more gamma waves for a little while but then your brain will adapt, respond and change based on your environment and regular stimulus. The 'use it or lose it' phrase is a good way to think about how your brain works.

WOW, I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS TO WORK SO WELL. I started listening to this yesterday, and I noticed myself feeling calm and relaxed while the audio plays. My problems seemed much less severe, and I became quite appreciative of certain people in my life. I thought that could possibly just be part of my normal mood cycles throughout the day. Later yesterday, when my mood was beginning to take a dip, I played the audio again AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. Now, while listening to this right now, I feel the same calm and peace, and I feel that my problems aren't that big a deal and that the solutions are just around the corner. I will definitely keep listening and observe how it works for me.

Jason Lewis - You say that the brain adjusts to what ever the frequency is at the time and then goes back to normal when we are finished. I feel like I am in new territory with this tone as it is as if I'm driving faster than before. So if someone's normal brain is lacking in an area they are listening to could it open up new or better pathways for the brain to operate. Hard to explain, if I study a lot my brain hurts as I'm not used to it, (I'm 64) whereas others may find it much easier. Listening to this could it make my brain fitter, enabling it to focus better in the future.
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
In terms of a one-off isolated use of the track, your brain will go back to normal after listening to it, as your brainwave activity falls out of sync with the tones. What’s harder to determine is the collective positive impact of regular use of time. I always talk in terms of the short-term benefits and impact because of the limited scientific research so far into the long-term effects. Generally speaking, keeping your brain stimulated in different ways will have a positive effect on you and your brain. It’s been shown that people’s brains can start to decline quite quickly when they get to a certain age. Partially with men and especially if they retire and go from being very mentally active with their job, to suddenly sitting at home all day and doing very little to stimulate their mind. So yes, I do believe that you can open up or re-open areas of your brain with this type of stimulation. Try to stop thinking that your age makes your brain less able than younger people. It’s been shown that people of all ages continually make new neural connections in the brain all the time. But you have to keep using it or lose it. I’ve read about studies with highly intelligent mice that are able to solve super complex mazes. They transferred the best ones to very simple and basic mazes and over time their brain deteriorates and they becomes less able to problem solve. They put them back and they start to improve again. Try to keep yourself sharp and do different things to keep yourself and your brain stimulated. The fact that you are here talking to me shows that you are already doing that. So keep at it.

@MindAmend
@MindAmend 5 лет назад
Some people have reported listening to beta and gamma waves to help them stay awake for longer during nighttime study periods, when they would normally be sleeping. However, that would be considered as experimental and it's not something I could guarantee would work, especially if you are really tired. I've had lots of anecdotal feedback from people doing it but I haven't heard of anyone properly testing it. If it does help to keep you awake it won't be as a replacement for sleep. I'm sure you will be tired afterwards and probably need your normal amount of sleep. If you want to test it just do it on a small scale to see how it makes you feel. Preferably, when you don't need to get up early and be somewhere important in the morning.

Yes. Binaural beats are the older and less effective method. The only reason they are still around is that people are more aware of the term, so it gets searched for way more compared to isochronic tones. Product and video creators know this, so they keep creating binaural beats to fill that search demand, effectively keeping a demand for the less effective method atificially high. There are actually many people publishing isochronic tones calling them binaural, just to get exposed to more searches, so that also doesn't help the community to know what's best or which is which. It's just as easy for me to make binaural beats tracks but I've been using isochronic tones for 12+ years. I've written an article explaining the differences and what makes isochronic tones better - www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/binaural-beats-vs-isochronic-tones/.

Can focus and co centrate well before 4 minutes than it's ineffective for me once the frequency increases past that.

@mindamend thank you jason lewis for all your great contents and also the creativeness , effort , knowledge, energy and time that you put to create them🙏🙏🙏 your older videos had a link in description to buy and download the mp3 file but new ones dont have such link in description. its a little difficult for me to see this video online everyday. (because of current situation of protests in iran and limited internet there) is there a link to buy this sound or am i allowed to download it from youtube?

Jason , I need some help , make some 10 min / 20 min nap music with alarm. I will really like it, if you make what I asked.
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 5 лет назад
I appreciate your request but I am a bit unsure about creating videos with an alarm. That could really freak people out that weren't expecting it, especially people with autoplay on who don't spot any notice about an alarm. Why don't you just set a timer on your phone?
