The CAT triggers are awesome if you add a longer adjuster screw and lighten them up. The recoil is pretty serious. Accuracy is really good if you hold it loosely. There is a ton of recoil as the pellet is trying to leave so holding it loose and letting it do it's thing is key. If you hold it tight the recoil throws the shot every time. Overall, I love my Magnum GR!
Not impressed by that accuracy at all. Even my ultra Magnum hatsan with 32fpe shoots better grouping at 60m than this does at 25.. recoil looks harsh..
Kudos to you sister. This has to be ONE OF THE MOST HONEST airgun reviews which I have seen in several years! Your words were not influenced by manufacturers or sponsors! AWESOME to see a honest, sincere review! Hugs from your friend in Canada!
Installed the longer screw for the trigger, now at 1 1/2lbs. Took the cheek piece off, just two screws off the butt pad. Looks a little hooky, but sights well w/open sights now. Will make my own custom cheek piece sometime. Its my favorite gun in my collection.
I like your presentation, but not the content on this review. Seems like magnum springers take a more experienced hand to show their true worth. More time with the gun and perfecting your springer technique would result in a more useful review. 👍
Hi Angie , had the magnum , accurate gun ,but very pellet fussy, 18 grain it only liked , found it loud for hunting . And the trigger i hated it . So got rid and got the hw 97k instead
Good video - I have the rifle under the name Jungle , exact rifle - good for hunting 20 to 35 yards , hard hitting, but it has to be held tightly because it’s a lightweight rifle with a big powerful 33mm spring- Definitely gets better with time.
No, it's not a gas ram. It's a real spring! Springer! The swarm is a gas ram. I own both! I like the GR better. It's my favorite gun A true 500mm rifled barrel The swarm is 400mm rifled barrel w/suppressor. I think the GR is a little more powerful.
Is the gr giveaway over, tried signing up at website, I have know idea how to navigate there, no profile option either, which was some kind of requirement I thought, help!! lol
Please change the scope I have 4 gamo scopes and they are not precise.. Whith (gamo swarm magnum gen2 igt) at 70yard open sights I had group of 3inch .Gun it's very accurate problem it's in the scope not the gun.
Not accurate, garbage trigger, open sights are not useable because of the high cheek riser. Combine that with the fact Gamo does not sell repair parts to the owner. Federal Fireams License required to buy a part to fix your Gamo. Gamo doesn't want you to repair their garbage products. They want you to waste another couple hundred $$ more for purchase another plastic rifle. I wouldn't take a Gamo springer if you gave me one.
