Can you please do this test again but at 50 yards and i bet the red fire will have a greater impact than the blue flame. The retained energy in the heavier projectile will be greater than in a lighter projectile.

just tried the red fire .177. in my gun the red fires were devastating compared to the gamo raptors!! was shooting at mt.dew cans filled with water at 15yrds. the raptors just punched threw the can, as the red fires blew the back side of the can apart. then i lined up to cans filled with water the raptors again punched threw both cans, but the red flame blew the back side of the first can apart and passed threw the second can as well. the entry hole on the second can was a little larger then the on the first can & exit hole was big enough to stick a nickle in it. can't wait to see what the red flames do to the local rat population!!!

Everybody here is a good recamendation buy a daisy 880 with a centerpoint mili dot scope and sight that in with some 10.5 grain crossman domes i pormise you will get really good results gunting all things with 177 cal

I've been using the Rockets for a long while now. I've tried others and keep coming back to Rockets, though. They just work better while hunting, especially at any longer distances. Heck, I've shot all the way through an old house trailer with them. LOL

Is it just me, or did the tip separate from the main part of the pellet and continue to travel through the clay? It seems like I can see a small channel running almost the entire length of the clay.

I own a couple of air guns as well as fire arms, and there is nothing wrong whith air guns they r as much fun as the fire arms, nice video I will try the blue ones.

great video, do you no the equation for kenetic energy is{ (1/2M) (Vsquared) } this means that if you double the mass you double the energy but if you double the velocity you quadruple the kenetic energy because its squared not multiplied, speed is more powerfull then mass but this does not meen it always wins the wieght to velocity ratio has to be within certin perameters of course but if you was given the choice to eather double speed or weight choosing speed wins every time

Well conducted, but I think I remember the blue one cost more and comes in 100 pellets compare to the red which are 150, I think.., but at lest now I know, but the reds are getting the job done just fine for me at the moment.

Id say red fire, because in general I trust a lead pellet in impact and accuracy... Blue flames are an excellent option though, both are great rounds.

How much damage would those do to humans? Not because I wanna shoot anybody, but I am just curious. But can they make any serious damage?

Nice video but at the current price (amazon) you can get 150 rounds red fire for about $8 and the Blue at 100 rounds for $12. Given your test looked to be real close i got the red fire.

@macabespeed oh cool! I live in england so I've never seen these types of ammo. I searched cause I presumed they existed. I use hollow point "intercepters", copper plated (FMJ) pellets and aluminium alloy ones that seem to go through everything haha. ;p

+Gammo pellets are absurd in price. For that money you can buy 22 long rifle ammo and still get change back. Use the cheaper Crossman or Daisy pellets for everything as they work as well or better.

also the blue flame is going cause a dirtier kill because the red flame is going to be able to reach the arteries for hunting and i you dont hit your mark you can count on lead to twist and turn mor giving you a cleaner kill

People have been killed with Airgun .Depends on which gun you are using .If someone was shot in the temple with one it could kill them.

Oh noice a very very excellent and scientific video commendations kind sir. The one thing though is I think for this that you could cut the time maybe halving the length. The one thing is really just your narration which you could stand to work on if you're posting YT videos and narrating them, which in this case is your voice sounding kinda choppy, not confident, just less bold and more scattered brained than your work merits, plus that is probably why the video is so much longer than it needs to be. To be brief, speak clearly and succinctly. I look forward to your other videos. Too many people spend all this time and their money on chronographs for checking the FPS and then boring fifteen second shots of the digits. This for once is actually as interesting as useful. When I'm looking at airsoft/bb/crossbow/firearms videos I actually want to see the thing in action, hear him cocking it and setting it down, get better audio quality of the sound of operation/firing and impact as well as watching its damage. Yet for some queer reason virtually nobody has ever seemed to do this. When I look up a Gamo Silent Cat model or Umarex automatics or Crosman vs.Gamo versions of a BB gun comparison to each other and their firearm model I want to actually *see* what the dwmn thing does. Like saying some airsoft has 650 FPS I actually want to see the damn thing fired at least at a pizza box(if not human flesh for a welt comparison. Speaking of which, somebody really needs to do that for airsoft a comparison of welt dimater and raised peak in mm as well as depth of subcutaneous hemhoraging if any or other contusion features in comparison of different bb's by different devices, or at least noting differences in damage upon various biological materials. Perhaps you could do such a thing and start this trend? It is in all honesty one of the more important aspects of airsoft. At any rate thanks again for the video and taking the time to post this. I wish more people had uploaded comparisons and showed the actual damage at least World's Deadliest Warrior style. As I was saying, when I am checking out a gun I don't give a shit about watching some guy standing around in a shop yammering away for fifteen minutes; I want to see how the rifle performs, preferably via damage to various objects at noted distances. Good idea about using the putty or clay, or Play Doh. They seem to measure depth of penetration in paraffin but this is far more illuminating.
