After experimenting with many settings across multiple weeks, this is the one I found work best for me: Center travel 3, Tension 4, Strongest corner-edge magnet settings, Hexagonal corner-core magnets. The result is a clicky, glidy, forgiving and light-turning setup that is fast without the cube deforming at all. Now, do you think the hexagon or triangle corner-core magnets are stronger? I'll have to disagree with what the manual says, I think the triangles are stronger. Do you agree?
It’s true that it’s still good. I’m still gonna keep as my main since I got it for 20 dollars so yeah. Personally better than the Wrm v10 ys3m tv3 and Rs3m v5 bc😊
@@MegaSmallBlackThe WRM V10 like he mentioned and honestly even the cheaper RS3M V5 or the YS3M, if you prefer a blockier cube, are very good. Talking about the ballcore versions.
Yes, the manual does say hexagon is stronger. A friend told me that he's heard it was a mistake in the manual, and after trying both, I have to agree that triangle is actually stronger. Some others also came to this conclusion, as seen in the comments of this post: www.reddit.com/r/Cubers/comments/r44kga/ive_had_the_gan_12_maglev_for_a_month_and_here/
