Same, would love to see more! I'm not really interested in playing the new set myself, since it's not standard legal and that's what I generally play on MTGA, but watching it is a blast.

I like Midweek Magic when it is an interesting format, like Historic Artisan or Pauper. And the phantom drafts and sealed. Set constructed is cool too. Basically anything outside of Momir.

Midweek events are nice, I just wish they were all access so I don't have to use wildcards for a deck that goes away in two days. Also when it's just explorer or historic that's not fun

Just treat it like Sealed! A lot of people only have the packs from the mastery pass, so the power level is pretty light it seems.

I love any format in which lesser used/slightly lower power level cards get to be used without shooting yourself in the foot. The variety is wonderfull!

Totally agree about the One Ring! They allowed 9 copies of the Nazgul, which was a flavor win, but messed up by not limiting copies of the One Ring.

Funny how folks expect to destroy the one ring so easily. If the flame on anor or some random westfold rider could destroy the one ring by themselves it would have certainly made things much simpler I'll tell you that.

Only complaint with Midweek Magic and unranked in general is.. the opponent just scoops if the game isn't going there way ,since there are no negative repurcussions. But regardless love the fresh content man 🥂 cheers

really enjoyed watching this mwm because set constructed is usually one of my favourites and the flavour of the set is so nice. but the next mwm are historic brawl, standard and after that a DMU phantom bot draft, not sure if thats good content except maybe the dmu draft. problem with midweek magic content is that its only 2 days so once the video is up, the event is nearly over. But tomorrow the LTR two command towers festival event is starting and running for a week. Its 60 card alchemy brawl but no planeswalkers and only legendary creatures from LTR allowed. i know its alchemy but it sounds interesting, at least a different brawl meta. standard brawl besides historic brawl would also be nice, its more affordable for newer players than hb. but the two tower event runs for a week, so enough time to put out some content and for us to still try the deck ourselves.

I feel like they should release a rule that limits the one ring to just that, one copy of the one ring. Simply because it's good in any deck and for a flavor win.

You sure about that hint text you added about copies and ward? The way I read ward, it doesn't care whether a spell was cast or copied. It just cares that the permanent with ward "becomes the target"

I think Legend was referring to the fact that Boromirs ability to counter 0 mana spells doesn't work, becauae the copy (even though 0 mana is spent on it) is not cast.

Yup, I quit playing alchemy as of today for that very reason. Went back to standard and just played against GW enchantments and Ramp Atraxa decks… tough time in the arena these days

Hm... the One Ring inside the format is pretty busted but outside the format it is not that of a big deal. I completly shuted down the ring with Solemnity (I played it out first followed by the opp's ring in the next turn).

The "Legend Rule" only allows you to keep one of the same Legendary card in play, so we simply keep the newer One Ring.

Tried out the midweek event yesterday and gotta say. This is by far the worst one from the variety perspective I've played in the last couple of years. You literally only get nazgul or RU decks as opponents. I'm not even joking...

I strongly dislike these events that force you to either burn wildcards on a gimmick or struggle with a pile of commons and uncommons vs busted rares and mythics. They always do them like 2 weeks after the set comes out too when most players likely are missing a lot of the cards. This event in particular was frustrating for me as it was a nonstop parade of UR control or RB nazguls. I dont understand why theyre not All Access. If you want people to want to craft or spend money then let people actually demo the cards first.
