Gandhi Village, a once quiet town in Debe and one of the villages I grew up in, so in this one my Trinbago Vibes peeps, it’s more of a vlog style, Shoutout to my Grandparents for giving me some insights in the village and as a result you’ll also learn a thing or three about this village here in South Trinidad, so join me as we explore Gandhi Village

Nice to see your grandparents. A bit of history very informative. I lived in Barataria and as a small child I remembered travelling by train. Showing my age now.

nice video of my village.i live further down d road,i didn,t know you had roots in gandhi village.i didn,t grow up in this village but rather married somone from d village.mind you this village has alot or history and stories.thanks for hilighting our village

Yes it does, since it’s my mom’s village we have been visiting every weekend in my childhood days and even into teens, so kinda grew up there….but it has changed greatly since those days

At one point is was mainly Indo-Trini, there was 1 Afro Trini family, and well the guy not to long passed away this year and he was over a 100 years old, selling oysters…now there are much more immigrants from Venezuela in the village
