I studied in Kota for two years and had almost no real friends there. Almost nobody wanted to talk to me because I was not "Cool" for them because I didn't watch and like Carryminati, Bhau etc. ( Though I started using bad words after sometime for which I still feel guilty ). Unfortunately I could not crack NEET ( Medical Test ), but after one year I have gotten into California Institute of Technology ( Caltech ) as an Undergraduate. My Role Models are Sir CV Raman, Stephen Hawking, Francis Crick, James Watson, Linus Pauling and many more. And I hope one day I will become either Physicist or Biochemist and work for my country and ultimately for the humankind !

Agreed 💯% sir! I'm 24 years old, so I'm of a newer generation as to you but of older generation to these new "influencers". But the problem is whenever I speak against it, people stamp me as orthodox or 'budha'(बूढ़ा). They tell me to 'learn to enjoy' and 'respect freedom of speech'. For them I tell, freedom of speech is a Western concept and yes, we should implement its positive aspects but at the same time, we should also respect the tradition/culture that's been in this country since thousands and thousands of years. But finally they regards me as a 'gawar' and then I don't touch the subject again.(not because I'm scared but because I've heard it somewhere, "winning a debate to an intellectual is hard but winning to a stupid is IMPOSSIBLE") So maybe I am old school guy, but I feel that 'old school' has much more to offer than this so called 'modern generation'

Abusing is so rampant in our society, that it is hard to ignore it. From a young kid to a grown up adult, they all use it, as if it is part of their day to day language. What I was taught in school and what I see in real world is completely different. When I step out of my house, and start hearing cuss words flying left and right in different conversations, I feel like the odd one out but I am happy to be that way. I see people/friends/strangers who think, Abusing is a form of expression, like its a way to vent out your emotions and there is no harm in doing so. But when I ask them if they would use it in their homes?; they go mute. All I get as an answer is, " Tu baat toh sahi bol rha hay yar but itna mat socha kar, yeh sab normal hay." I then realize, its pointless to argue rather better to continue with your own "ODD ONE OUT" life! Full respect to you sir, for touching upon this topic and reminding people of what it means to be "CIVILIZED."
