Ilayaraja Sir is like God's gift to Tamil cinema. Many of his compositions are not just mood elevators but truly gems that are therapeutic. pity that own kin cannot recognize his greatness

Yes, Bosskey interrupts too much when the guests are speaking, but apart from him I have never seen anyone asking such eye opening questions. His questions are always good.

Enjoyed the interview! Gangai Amaran has always been a celebrity I've looked up to for his modesty, frankness, multi-talents, sense of humor and above all, his generosity in praising others' good work. He may not be a genius in a specific field, but on the whole, Tamil cinema would have been poorer without him.

Hi Booskey, Sir, Gangai Amaran's point on the the trend of hero song intro is so true. As a Singapore Tamil, i say there is a urgent need to change these silly "hero" song. Already Tamil youths in overseas are not associating or able to refer to good tamil language and songs. Please help to promote good Tamil around south east asia. Gangai Amaran, is very true on the telling his views. My respect to his true views without hesitation. Best wishes!!

Exactly well said by Gangai Amaran Sir,....can't forget melodies,lyrics,beautiful music of 80s 90s....still fresh in our soul...recent movie song lyrics mostly doesn't make sense at all...dont know what kind of message the younger generation will receive/appreciate from today's music composers..miss voices like Karthik,Tippu,Vijay Jesudas...Sujatha Srinivas n some others....

Best tonic to activate oneself from depression or foul mood but hard lesson too especially for those in performing arts side. This is a session of intensive education for them. But Bosskey makes right course correction to keep the session suitable to common man and enjoyable too. Yes, this is a tonic for many of us. Hats off to both . (Secretly, I viewed this mid Jan 2022 for the first time but I enjoyed it fully !).

Hi Bosskey! I've watched every single interview you've done on Bosskey TV. Love the way you conduct them. And I like your choice of interviewees too. Inviting someone just because some recent film of theirs is coming out, or praising them from earth to heaven, indha madhiri endha oru vishayamum illaama, your interviews are very casual. And the flow of questions doesn't seem structured which is brilliant! "Aduthu Vaaikkulla Cup segment, aduthu Danga Maari Memory segment" ipdi interview ah segments ah split pannaama apdiye flow la poradhu super ah irukku! Looking forward to more!

Very nice interview. Gangai Amaran sometime speaks truth. Good habit. He is not the right person to speak on spoiling cinema music. I agree Ilayaraja and brothers are trend setters. But, they should also agree, they are the so called musicians simplified the cinema music according to the trend. They struggled lot. But, It doesn't mean that they are great than MSV and other old music directors.

Amaran, though he has written many songs on his own, he has purchased many songs for Rs.200 to Rs.500 per song also in 1980's from people who look for cine openings, i knew this through cine people telling about this to my dad who was a tamizh poet when we lived near kodambakkam at that time....

I would like to share an interesting in incident about the song " Yeh Zindaki usi ki " in the film ANARKALI.The film was produced by Filimistan studios Bombay and music. by Chitalkar Ramachandra..Actually what happened was that a great music director Roshan once invited Chitalkar Ramachandra'ji for a dinner. At that time Chitalkar ji was deeply thinking about the tune and expressed this to Roshanji.Immediately Roshanji took piece of paper and scribbled some musical notes and gave to Chitalkar ji Born the song was "Yeh Zindagi usi ki hai". This information was openly admitted by both the music directors. .How many of the present day music directors have such large heaetedness?

he has clarity in his thoughts. liked this IV. Bosskey managed to not interrupt and it was more like convo. Good job! But the selection of national awards gives me the creeps. So the committee does not intensely note every music directors' BGM? They just state these recommendations off their heads and can even convince the rest to watch films to note the BGM. So unfair!!
