In which we explore Ganon's Castle and complete six trials, then we go confront Ganondorf and finally finish the game.
This Friday, July 28th, we're gonna get back to the Chzo Mythos series and go ahead and finish what we've got left. We have 8 videos planned for that, the first is a catch up video of sorts where we look at some of the extra content, then we have a video for each of the three countdown trilogy games (little text adventures released in the days leading up to the release of the last main game), and then four videos on the final entry in the franchise, 6 Days a Sacrifice (The fact we're putting the first one of these out on July 28th was a complete coincidence but I find it very cool).

It's been brought to my attention that the primary topic from 34:45-38:08 wasn't totally accurate through the fault of myself. I had mistaken the track with the weird time signature as this one when in fact it was Ganondorf's Battle Theme that had the odd time signature. I really don't know how this happened to me, but I see my error now. If you're interested in the gritty details, I found this out because I made a short of this segment since I didn't think there was any harm in it at the time, and through a comment exchange I realized I had better double check where I got this information from, and discovered my mistake. As a kid, I considered 24 to be my lucky number, so whenever it pops up in a place of significance (like the last video number in a series), I get this happy little thrill. Jay notices a wallmaster challenge, difficulty: impossible. Huh, I didn't actually know about that fairy and deku scrub room. Neat! So, fun story, this game came out back when I was in 3rd grade (yeah, I'm a good bit older than you two), and our teacher let us do book reports on books of our choosing, and there was this short novelization of OOT in the game store... I think you can see where that's leading, mostly. But also, for that particular book report, we had to make a little diorama of a scene from the book to show to the class. So that was why 8 year old me bought action figures of Link, Zleda, and Ganondorf and recreated, in a shoebox, Ganondorf at the organ, with Zelda wrapped in red cellophane above him, and Link standing across from them. I've always loved the visual effects with the light arrows in the Ganondorf fight, they still just look really cool. Okay, good, you kept the red blood from the 1.0 version. No wonder Ganondorf wasn't actually dead! Link and Zelda made the number one mistake: they turned their backs on the body! You can also use deku nuts against Ganon! Which is fun and satisfying. So glad Jay enjoyed the experience! It was a great time reliving a game from my childhood through seeing someone else play it for the first time. I'm looking forward to the final Chzo stuff. I never played the side games myself, so that will be new to me, too. HOLLOW KNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! Um... I mean... Hollow Knight is a really really really good game and I hope Jay has a good time with it! I haven't personally had any weird pets, but my brother had an iguana when I was little, and my cousins briefly had ferrets at one point.
