Frostcrystal I usually make a special shape for a characters personality. If my character is mean and short tempered I usually make them look a spiky and maybe their “no special feeling” looks a bit angrier. And if my character is soft and friendly I usually make them look rounder like a circle. Though that’s just how I do it, when you have your special art style it’s easier to make them look different. Though the face is usually the hardest
You 100% inspire my poses! Your art has most definitely teached me how to draw a cat body and same face syndrome. I definitely put my own swing on my art but you’ve definitely have helped me with body shape.
This is off topic but, y’know how art block exists and you lose motivation on art? I think that I have that but with comments cause I try to think of a good comment then lose motivation lmao anyways I love your art and can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Yeah, I have one! Well it's my brother, he never ever use it. Doesn't even draw. It nice and cheap, and very good. But I love drawing on paper, digitaly takes me more time surprisingly.
My art took a step down when I got a screen tablet but don’t worry because it eventually will go back and start improving while you’re learning how to use the tablet.
Hey rose you should do a how I draw video! To teach people how you draw in different styles and ir how you like to draw Copy and paste so Rose will see!
Another thing to avoid same face syndrome, is to make the fur and head fluff different shapes and sizes. Like say you gave a character a kind of roundish shaped floof, but its small, while another has massive spiky floof. One of your character's fur has curls in it and the other is more spiky. One has chest floof and the other has a flat tail. I know a great examples of this if anyone would like to see it.
I've been drawing with my ipad for a few months now (Before that I drew with my phone, I don't know how I handled it.) and I'm hoping to get a tablet like this sometime within the next few years. I'm actually getting an apple pen in a few days and am super excited!
This tablet seems great! I’ve been wanting a tablet but most that I find aren’t what I’m looking for, Would you recommend this for me? I’ve never used a tablet before
Thanks so much for this rose! Ive been wondering about stuff like this for a while when it comes to characters to this really helps! So now imma go practice
* me full well knowing I already am pretty good at avoiding same face and body syndrome yet still taking notes in a notebook about how to avoid it while watching this video *: mhmmm.... yeah....
a pen that needs chargin is very old tech for a drawing tablets 😬 The issue with screen tablets owerall is how long they actually work. that being said super cute drawing!
There's difference between Gaomon PD1560 and XP-Pen Artist 15.6 right ? I didn't know about the Gaomon PD1560 but is it better than the Artist 15.6 one ?
Honestly, I HATE Windows 10 layouts. My mother ordered me a $100 Windows 10 tablet (yeah, pretty cheap) and it turned out horrible. There was so much lagging and the pen wouldn't draw without sketchy and crappy lines. I lost the pen, so sadly I can't digitally draw on my tablet anymore, but one of my biggest wishes is this tablet. I have always wanted one like this and hopefully when I turn 16 and move away, I can finally get one. :)
When I got this drawing tablet it came in a huge box (for shipping it to my house) then when I took the out the box the tablet was supposed to be in (which took so long to open) guess what was inside, ANOTHER BOX
EmerYT If she did it, everyone would copy her style and it wouldn’t be original or look amazing anymore because the style would get boring. Bob Ross always says that if a lot of people drew the same, art would be boring
Question did anyone get this tablet and I came defective because I tried to get this tablet but it had a problem with the screen so I sent it back and got a new one and the HDMI cord had a short in it I just want to know if anyone else had this problem or if I just got the rare defective two.
I have the opposite effect. I can't draw the same thing twice, and when I do, they look like two different characters. I just need to be more careful tbh.
There isn't really an age limit but I doooo personally think that you should probably wait until you've had some experience with other tablets (or maybe even an Ipad or something!) before jumping straight into this! Mainly because it is a bit of an investment and it can be a bit overwhelming so you should definitely make sure you're 100% ready before purchasing one, I think. But I don't know your situation so it's really up to you!
@@roseshards thank you, but i did have a iPad mini for 5 years buuut i never really drew on my iPad because i was like, five when i got it, so i am familiar to useing an iPad, but i recently just got a computer and got a few drawing apps.
I really hope this doesn’t come off as rude, I’m just trying to be honest Rose, I think you still suffer from the whole same-face syndrome thing. Everyone’s faces kind of look the same. It helps to toy around with eye shapes, muzzle shapes, more and less cheek fluff, things like that. They’re distinguishable, yes, but they’re still very similar
...... The cats she drew in this video don’t look similar at all 😅 I think she did a really good job. :3 If she was looking for criticism, I think she would’ve said it in the description. ^^ I know I would! I hope I’m not coming off as mean, but I felt the need to say this .u. Oki
I really love her as an artist too but I do agree that her cats all look very different as far as pelt, but they always have the same expression. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love her artwork (and I could never draw as well as she can) but I also think that she should branch out a bit from the same thing. My favorite one of her drawings was the Hollyleaf one, as each cat had different expressions, especially Hollyleaf’s because it’s filled with disgust and anger versus the generic happy expression. Once again I don’t mean to sound negative but I agree with you, Medicine! (I know where you’re coming from too, Blaze Wolf!)
