Hello Im Kylla so Im 17 this year and Im gonna be 18 next month. Im a Stem student at dahil malapit ng maggraduation my mom keep urgjng me to choose college before slots run out. So ganito my chosen course is Architecture(which is not in lined with your career lol) but anyway dito sa amin yung architectural courses ay nasa private school as in. Im not confident sa drawing skills ko and I need time and somebody to teaches me how to do that. Hindi ako matalino Im a slow learner kaya I realy need to get ready if Im going to go to collage. 3rd reason I want to earn money, I want to fund my own collage at gusto ko sa better schools ako pumasok. Magreready ka rin lang naman pumili ka na ng magandang schools. I have already made plans and ang pinaka key variable (sana all naka technical term pa) or yung one thing para mapapayag ko si mama ay magkaroon ng trabaho which is call center agent. Im still on the process of searching for the right job, so bakit call center agent kasi po on night siya then sa umaga papasok ako sa art workshop para mahasa ang aking artistic skills para maging mas smooth yung college days ko. My only concern is that tutol ang mama ko sa gap year. Any additional advise po baka meron. Nakakakaba kasi first time kong tututulan si mama on my future, this is my future ayokong maging fast faced pace yung track ng buhay ko. Im not any sort of a genius and I dont have the courage to take college on head on without knowing atleast nothing on my chosen career. I want to be independent and have the confidence to my college days. I want myself to be a brand new person. So I really need to have a gap year .
Omg. We graduated the same year, from the same course, same board exam year. Super nakarelate ako sa reasons mo for chasing med. Lezzgo med school. We'll get that MD by 2023. Fighting! 🥰😍

wahh! I wasn't aware! Hello po!! All the best satin 🥰 yeesss I second that #MDby2023! LABAN DOKTORA! ♥
Most of you that I look up to, never thought or never planned on entering med school yet you're all in the field and some are already specialists. Makes me wonder if I'll make it because I planned every path I took... I took STEM in SHS and I enrolled in Health related course because I wanted to be a doctor... I wonder if I'll make it with the fact that I planned everything...

Hi, cheer up! I know other people like you who have always set their path towards Medicine. You're not alone ❤️ besides, we come from different walks of life so comparing yourself to others may do more harm than good 🥺

Meanwhile here's me wishing I hadn't taken a gap year 🙈 hahaha hi Doc Noie, I watch your vlogs and they're beyond okay! Don't worry too much about it :)
helloo ate Rose! I am 16 years old and i am currently having this back and forth anxiety about career options and courses. everyone in my family even my cousins seem to have their life planned out, 11 kaming magpipinsan tapos almost all ay mag memed, but me super nahihirapan ako kasi i have this fear of being a flop, do you have any advices in choosing a career path?

Hi Jul Babie! Good morning :) It's perfectly normal not to have your life planned out at 16. When I was 16, I just finished high school (there was no K+12 yet), and I noticed that most of your same-age peers worry too much about your career that early. Siguro factor na you're exposed to "choosing" a career at an early age? Choosing which track - HUMS, STEM, etc. had given you this sense of responsibility that's permanent and life-changing. I beg to disagree. Choosing a career starts later on, when you start looking for work pa. Even before med school, you can still change that decision. There are "non-traditional" pre-med courses out there para sa mga late naka-realize (brave hearts tbh) na gusto pala nila maging doctor. :) so don't worry too much about it now. My suggestion? Enjoy your life. Choose a major that strikes your interest the most and panindigan mo.

Being a doctor is not a be all, end all. There are far other professions there that are also noble :) And hey, don't fear being a flop. I've been a flop! But makapal lang ata talaga mukha ko na flop. I just keep going. Try and then try again. Keep trying. Do it for yourself, for the peoole who matter to you❤️ Narinig mo na mga lumilipat sa movies? Usually "flop" ung first "flap" nila. That's not you being a disgrace or a disappointment, if you ever fail/have a detour, that's you doing your first flap. You're flying. You're going places one day :)
Hi Doc Rose! Good afternoon po! Is the application po for scholarship takes place once po na maadmit sa school? I am applying po ngayon sa UERM, and one major consideration ko po ngayon is the tuition fee. Im planning to apply sana for a scholarship para mapush. (Please notice me Doc hehe! Thank you!!)
