Garage Landing and Shoe Rack

This week we made our garage to house entry a little safer by adding a landing and shoe racks. Now we can walk directly out of the house onto the landing and not have to take a immediate step. We also build a massive shoe rack on the landing so our shoes stay out of the way and nice and neat.

Hi, Tyler. My name is Darwin,and started watching you a few weeks ago. I just wanted to tell you that I love your videos. Your projects are great. I really appreciate and enjoy you letting your sweet kids help. I just retired from teaching elementary school for 25 years. I hated giving it up and miss it everyday. You see, I had to retire because I have kidney failure. I was sad but found your videos and a few others like yours, that have helped me love wood working again. You have inspired me to make things. I don't know if you are a man of faith, but take it from me you and your videos are a blessing from God. Keep up the great work. Darwin

Nice job, Tyler! Cool that the kids were able to help a little with it. If my 5 and 3 year olds are in the garage with me, they're usually chasing each other around till my 3 year old gets hurt. Or my 5 year old is drawn like a magnet to the paddle switch on my unplugged table saw. Lol
@DIYTyler
@DIYTyler 9 лет назад
+Joshua Luther Yea the big red table saw switch is so exciting for some reason (I unplug it as well as often as I remember.) Other way around for us, the 3 year old (girl) is tortured and chased by the boy who is solid as a rock....he declares pain..."OWE"....instead of crying, makes us laugh! Thanks as always for watching Josh. BTW, makita router going on the xcarve this week, need to have you and Bill up soon.

Ha ha ha - the name you used 'Kid Killing Cliff' hilarious! Great Job and so safe - Good Job Dad! - Now that I watched the entire build - 1. Your wife is very lucky to have a talented and hard working husband 2. your kids are lucky they have a caring and calm Daddy, it was so cute to see your assistant handing you the nails and how they were so 'peaceful' playing around your work site. I never heard a distressing word and they are really cute kids! ***** Five Stars - oh and the cat was fun and added to the show! 3. You made this look sooooo easy, but I know it was not.
